That's assuming the prices aren't going to go up in the next 4 seasons after, assuming they do, then people are saving money as the £500 price is fixed.

Factor in the mad rate of inflation atm £500 (and I know I’m going to waffle: £500 is about 50 hours min wage work this year, 10% up next year it equals 45 hours, and so on to about 30 odd hours if things continue meaning that season ticket will be cheaper in real terms year on year)

I probably haven’t explained it properly but it looks like a good deal to lock in the price for the extra £20.

Of course they do and the club have realised that and said, go ahead, find the extra money if you want that, yet we need the atmosphere, it’s been one of the big differences these last few seasons.

My daughter has gone from £25 to £200. I get the incentive to have an enlarged family section, but really penalising those who want to stay where they are. Last season I paid around £800 for 4 season tickets, to renew in block 16 will be £1300.

Am I the only one who had a kid with a JSB ticket a couple of years ago when they were all in the same blocks?

Gonna be honest, I'd only looked for myself with no kids when I posted this. Stand by the fact that £400 is decent for the Championship, but the kids pricing, and the forcing of people to move to the family stand is a joke.

This the thing, it's only 65 quid more for me but it will hurt a lot of other people

Does a 44% increase in ticket price for the same seat sound reasonable to you? Especially when it is more likely than not that we will still be in the championship.
The loss of goodwill caused by this and the other changes will heavily outweigh the minimal amount of extra revenue.

That’s the risk the club take with the pricing. Plenty in here have been saying the club needs to pull its finger out on the commercial side to bring in more revenue and the prices last year were pretty reasonable for championship so prices were bound to go up.

So Robins talking about the 'cost of living' was utter bullshit and lies. Back to us being customers rather than supporters. Fuck off Doug, at least Sisu made it affordable. My Dad has had a season ticket for 65 years, but is currently struggling to pay gas and electric, yeah £360!!!! So much for being a working class game. Bunch of wankflannels

I've gambled on it. Amazing offer but can understand if some are pissed off it's it too much especially if it's a family that go together.

I think a few are going to do that.

Might be a fair few gaps in the stand.

Obviously moving is a big issue for most but besides the prices of senior citizens, isn't there an option for everyone to pay no more than £55 extra? (Edit)

@Evo1883 is a good example. He doesn't want to move but the option is there and he could pay a very cheap price in an alternative block if needed.

Am I reading it wrong? Majority of fans will be paying £400 instead of £375?

Have they released the s/t prices too early? Have they thought through the family zone combo dodge especially if they sell it out and keep extending it like they’ve said.

I’m unsure.

Standard Area

Adult £400 / 23 = £17 per game
Child £200 / 23 = £8 per game

Family Zone

Adult £250 / 23 = £10.90 per game
Child £50 / 23 = £2.20 per game

Is it really the end of the world to go into a different stand? It is also going to be to try and stop people taking the piss on kids tickets. If you want to go and watch with your kids then it's amazing value and saving money on previous years.

Not sure there will be.

Halfway line seats are premium at every ground in this country. We were an oddity doing it cheap.

you for real? I’m in block 19 with my 2 boys (8 & 12). They love it in there. Get good view and the atmosphere. Now we have to move to the corner otherwise I can’t afford to go. I’ve sat there for years along with my eldest. That’s whose been shafted.

Basically this is a shit take because it isn't about a person deciding if they want to pay "x" amount or not, it is about mums and dads who now have to tell their kids they can go the football next year unless they move to the opposite side of the ground from where the kids want to be. Even if they do tis the likely hood is the kids enjoyment and experience is lowered because they are not where they like to be in the ground.
