It's clearly a move to make it unaffordable for teens in the corner. Possibly to clamp down on anti-social behaviour.

It's not and most of the people in 14 and 15 are young adults and adults not kids

Bonkers move that. You'd be really pissed off if you had a season ticket there.

Yep, seriously pissed off. Have perfect seats behind the goal above the steps where 10 of us sit across 2 rows and have done for the past 2 years. Prices are fine, personal annoyance but sure others will be in the same boat.

For me and my 13 year old daughter the family zone is incredible value.

But that means not sitting with my brothers. It’s the only time we all get together and is steeped in 25 years tradition.

I make it £700 odd for me and the child in the normal section. Which is a massive jump.

Tbh it’s a bit shit for me personally. But I get the bigger picture I suppose.

Would they not sit in the family zone with you for 250 each?

Who in their right mind would but a premier league package for £500 for an under 14?

I think it’s targeted at the single adult male/females that go, I would imagine with the recent posts about defrauding the club with age range tickets, this was in mind.

I don’t think the funds raised this year will go very far, in theory, they could with the family zone pricing but the reality is that this will sell out with so many families forced to move there to save money.

I know you’re all going to face the same challenge of increased prices but if you do have anything spare then I still want to help as many families as possible see the games.
I may have to ask if I can get JSB pricing from the family zone just outside there if the money flows in late this year.

thanks for your help as always.

Inevitable that prices were going to hike. Double digit inflation and I’m sure Frasers haven’t lowered to the rent.

If we go up the s/t is for 19 home matches rather than 23?

Over 19 matches that’s over £25/t?
(Premium zone) - it’s a bit confusing TBH. EDIT.

Not complaining - Prem footy and all that.

I guess they’ll announce match day individual prices when we know what division we will be in so it’s difficult to know exactly what’s what.

Asides, overall everything is looking a lot better that it has for a long time.

I get to an extent why it’s the premium seats and me and my father in law got seats for the first two seasons. We then moved opposite to the West Stand - it’s a Better view and excess to the bar inside the main reception area

Possibly. Although I read it as you need to be buying with a child. They wouldn’t be would they. Plus it’s a big ask of them when they want to get pissed up and sing/swear

The move of the concession age from over 60 to 65 is a big hit for some. Not impressed

Bit over complicated but on the whole doesn’t look unreasonable. Mine in family zone is £70 less for me and my son.

Standard zone price of £400 was what I expected. £480 premium might as well go for the premier league price.

Biggest losers seem to be the the 14-18 age group. Almost like they are trying to price them out of naughty corner.

I think overall its priced about right, but I do feel for those like evo who have a couple of young kids for prices to double to sit in same seat. Is not right.

I'd say there's probably 40% in 14 who are under 18.

If two of you sit in the middle blocks it’s £20 more - where I sit it’s £100 more

If it’s costing the club money how would you suggest they enforce it? Probably not practical to have stewards checking tickets all the time particularly if they’re just going to get abuse for it. It’s probably a hard enough role to recruit for anyway.

Yeah looks like you’re right. Moot though as at least one is going for the premier league package I think. I may do the same and just buy her a match ticket when she will be coming.

From experience of having my season ticket there it's less than that.

Kids are usually older than you think

I'm not sure they are going to limit the JSB area. They will just extend it with demand.

I think despite the negativity. The big takeaways for me are:

Majority can get their adult season ticket for £400.

A parent and two kids can go for £350. Incredible value.

The issue will be that people are forced to move. Unfortunately, that's the pricing structure at nearly all clubs in the country. You pay to sit in premium seats.

I can't defend not opening behind the goal up though. No real explanation.

They haven't really. It's in line with most clubs in the country. It was very rare for us to have universal prices.

Yeah I don't think previously when the JSB tickets have been in a set area they limited it. Think when my daughter first got hers you had to sit in certain blocks.

Maybe 5 or 6 years ago now?

I don’t really see the point of the Premier pricing thing from the clubs perspective. Only explanation I can think of is it’s extra money to invest upfront but even if everyone who takes it up is from the standard zone it would only be an extra half a million. In reality it will probably be about half that.

I guess that’s better than nothing and with prices going up generally it will help with squad investment.

Approx 44% increase for those of us in that age bracket in standard zone. It just seems designed to piss people off - why would they arbitrarily do that when it’s been “over 60” for years?
