Average will be way over 26/27k.

It will be nearer 29k

We'll see. I suspect lower myself.

Max 24K ST holders. Away maybe 2k Average. So 26K, then walk up will depend on success I guess. But I also believe the walk up will be less than last season, as a host of them will have brough STs.

There are 5 teams within an hour of us that would easily fill their allocations. Then factor in those teams near the top and I guarantee the away average is North of 2000

Yeah maybe just north of 2000. Whilst what you say about the big/local teams coming, you've also got to consider the poorly followed teams and ones visiting on a midweek night - Millwall, Preston, Portsmouth etc. Then Swansea, Watford, QPR, Blackburn etc. They'll most likely even the big followings out.

Anyway besides the point. I don't think we'll average as high at 29k.

No evidence for that at all

Well looking at the map logically, we have a cap of 24k but there's only about 500 (probably less) seats in the normal seating areas free. I'd even guess that those dots you can see now, are what's left to take us up to 24000 cap.

So, where's the rest of the seats gone? They have quite clearly held some back, those being in 26/27 and most probably in the South Stand.

I won't believe that all the seats in these sections have sold:

Has anyone else noticed that there’s a ‘Cup Ticket Scheme’ added on eticketing?

I rang the ticket office asking about it and they did not have a scooby about it yet.

@Saddlebrains perhaps your source may know a bit more detail?

We averaged 28k last season, we've sold more ST (full season) this time. Any that are left come January and if half ST are offered, they'll all be hoovered up.

I'd put money on us beating last season's average which won't put us far away from 29k. Especially if we some how get off to a good start.

Still doesn't justify talk of a bigger ground. The CBS is fine

Well we aren’t going to have any games where the walk up is zero.

For the last 10 years the average has always been near enough season ticket holders + 5k.

Is the number of dots left the number to get is up to the cap? Presumably if so that means sections have been saved for walk up rather than just whatever random tickets are left.

Not much they can do now but they may have to have a think about how they can avoid ending up with so many singles left.

I think that might have been there before but I may be wrong. I think it essentially reserves your cup tickets at home games for you during the ST window.
It gives you the option to add payment details so I’d like to able to set it up so the club automatically takes payment for a ticket in my ST seat.

It saves the fans and clubs time by just automating the process.

It was 27.6k last season. No way it’s less this year.

The teams joining the league will bring higher followings overall than those who have left. I'll be absolutely gobsmacked if the average next season isn't beyond 28K as a minimum.

They are shouting as if the ball is out of the corner area until the ref comes over and it’s clearly not and everyone laughs.
Cheers 👍
I had a hunch that’s what it would be, I wasn’t able to travel to games last season & it obviously didn’t come across on tv.
