Sometimes wonder what our season ticket sales were like in PL in late 90s, when we got 23k at HR pretty regularly.

Couldn’t have been that regularly considering the average between 1995 and 2000 wasn’t even 20000

Up until these last few seasons we have traditionally not been a club that has sold large numbers of season tickets. I doubt we sold much more than 10,000 in any season we had in the top flight.

season tickets were not so much a thing back in the day - Walk up was the most popular option

Because we had some great times there are were in the top flight. I found it a lot easier to get to the ground. For a certain generation it was different. However we rarely sold out during the 80 s and beyond. .

In the region 13k max i reckon. 10k was typical when weren’t in any kind of hype mode.

I'm over in early Sep till 6 th Oct. So when they are out I can show you and if you want one I'll bring it over. There will be the obligatory home kit and the two away ones. Just bear in mind Thai sizes are completely different to ones at home. At home I can fit into M & L. In Thailand I have to buy XL.

HR only held about 23-24k so although smaller numbers with a bit of segregation etc (nothing like seats lost now of course) and depending on away following, anything over about 19k felt pretty full. 10k Season tickets probably about right. We had one but more about convenience really as matchday pricing wasnt so different, now you can miss about 10 games and still get value.

I remember when we had stubs to rip out in the 80's and then in the early 90's before they introduced cards, it became awful as you had to take the whole book because tehy started randomly selecting numbers instead of 1 through 21 it could be match 5 followed by match 17.

Guessing that cup games might not even get to general sale if everybody from behind the goal has to move over?

Balcony Bar sales don't look great. Have the Mahou Lounge tickets been taken off sale completely?

They advertised on Monday to say season tickets would be taken off sale on Wednesday. No idea why, but just another deadline to give that FOMO feeling I assume.

Not sure could well be, although why you wouldn't continue to sell both until they hit the magic number is beyond me.

Romanticism - just fond memories. A bit like an ex-girlfriend. You only remember the good bits. Agree about the fantasised numbers though.

2026 Season tickets will be the big change
1st offering can only be to existing sth - as there is no further capacity for new STH, and you will not have option to move seat in this round

There may then be an option to move seat to where somebody has not renewed

I will expect they will then open (a charged) waiting list, for where season ticket holders dont renew, and then a limited number will be come available

Just hope the club dont get too greedy and kill the goose
