It wouldn't surprise me if at least half of the 1500 new ones sold were people moving to new seats and then just not renewing their existing seats.A bit of assumption on my part here. We had 22,500 STHs last season & sales are capped at 24,000 this season. I am assuming that we have 1500 new STHs hence the need for a waiting list which is currently at 900+ so if 22,000+ have been sold then so far around 2000 haven't renewed. It looks possible that we could have a STH from last season or someone on the waiting list not able to renew/buy if we sell 24,000.

Depends on one thing! How well we are performing, good and it could be approx 30k.27,600 average this season, 2k more STs, could we hit 30k do we think or would corporate/away/segregation stop that?

27,600 +2,000 = 29,600 even if they were all new so I'd say not27,600 average this season, 2k more STs, could we hit 30k do we think or would corporate/away/segregation stop that?
Decent???27,600 +2,000 = 29,600 even if they were all new so I'd say not
In all seriousness, I'd guess most of those buying attended a number of games last season. Also some away fans on midweek or teams like Millwall/Hull etc rarely get close to selling out so that would be enough of a drop off to take it below. I'd think we could put another 1,000 on the average though to 28,600 which is decent. If we blend the extra between season tickets and matchday as being £20 a ticket plus F&B, then that 1,000 is worth over £0.5m.
*sorry I meant in comparison to last year. Of course over the longer term it's amazing progress.Decent???
Wasn't that long ago a crowd of 15000 was deemed brilliant
Wasn't having a go mate but 23k st holders is unreal*sorry I meant in comparison to last year. Of course over the longer term it's amazing progress.
It's ok I didn't read it like that, just explaining. I'm a bit long in tooth (as are youWasn't having a go mate but 23k st holders is unreal
I noticed the 24,000 season cap was confirmed in the club's post about the start of the waiting list sale period.Happy days. Two more STs bought this morning by mates on the waiting list. They tell me seats were disappearing faster than they could select them
24k gone mate, you can have one next year but you'll have to pay another tennerI am on the waiting list but can't seem to do anything on the website to purchase one.
Or is it only available to people who paid £10?Just went on to see if anything was available it wasn't.
Fair weather fansShow's how far we've come, and proved by our amazing season ticket sales figures.
Aye, there's always next year!24k gone mate, you can have one next year but you'll have to pay another tenner
Yea, supposed to be only for people who paid the tenner. I was number 240 something on the waiting list but can't get on.Or is it only available to people who paid £10?
I got it straight away. Shouldn’t make any difference but try doing it through the link on the email we got yesterday, or just straight to the site… or try incognito.Aye, there's always next year!

Need to crack the corporate puzzle and balcony.
Club has always had the potential to go big, but in all honesty not had owners in decades that have understood how to tap into it. Every club is seeing increases but ours is very rapid and big number
Its stunning figure and seeing Cov tops and with young kids in them is brilliant, good times we should all enjoy it and encourage more to join in.
Need to crack the corporate puzzle and balcony.
Ah yes thank goodness Doug cracked the secret code of “be good on the pitch”.
20 effing years of Your Grounds too Big For You now replaced by Where Were You When You Were Shit from the likes of bloody Watford and Swansea etc
I’m sorry but we’re not kicking above our weight. We spent 34 year’s consecutively in the top flight. How many teams in the top two divisions can say that?Too much hubris about City's prospects, I really hope the bubble doesn't burst. We're no more than a mid table Championship club kicking above it's weight because it is currently well managed.
The work ethic Lampard has put in place must continue and the structural changes DK has put in place depend on continued excellence in recruitment choices.
Thus my fingers remain crossed and my expectations remain realistic until and unless results prove otherwise.
