Ah, the offshore Jim Ratcliffe approach.
Spoken like a true capatilist @shmmeeeIt’s basic supply and demand really. Looking at what we charged twenty years ago for abject shite in an half full ground and the rate of inflation since I find it hard to moan too much about footy prices going up when we’re successful and selling out.
It was capped at 5K max but not sure how many of that 5K were sold.As an aside, does anyone know how many premier package STs we sold?
I'd heard 10k but that seems like bollocks.
i imagine most in the central blocks would have bought them as it was only £20 per season extra with a fixed season ticket cost and a free one if we did go up - so a no brainer - not sure how many blocks that coversIt was capped at 5K max but not sure how many of that 5K were sold.
The thing is, if we are selling so many general admission tickets at £37, it would be nice for him to freeze again. Our season ticket prices are about average currently aren't they?
I wonder if he'll put Cat A up to £40. That would be very high for people.
One of the cheapest, if not the cheapest in the division. £600-£700 STs in this division are not uncommon

We offer a cheap ST in an area where 2/3k fans can sit with kids but its a restricted amount .
Outside that area our tickets are not one of the cheapest
Legend.I will be (trying) to get season tickets next season after a year off. It's a huge commitment for me and my kids considering we live 3 hours away, but I've missed it.

Got to remember that £550 is PL package. I doubt our average was £475 last season

There was outrage when they released , their attendances i believe are down on previous seasonGiven its quite a deprived area Boros are pretty steep
Yes, but given most adults tickets were £400, a small number were £250, then a small number with incentives were £500 and £550, the Average clearly won't have been £475. I'd be surprised if the average adult was more than £440 (and that includes the PL weighted promo)Averages will be worked out the same way across all clubs including offers etc

Like I said i agree, but worked out the same at every club

to be fair the average is a nonsense figureAverages will be worked out the same way across all clubs including offers etc
It can be a pain being a long distant fan. But it's like crack cocaine, very hard to break the habit.I will be (trying) to get season tickets next season after a year off. It's a huge commitment for me and my kids considering we live 3 hours away, but I've missed it.
I thought numbers would decrease last season based purely on a few people I know who were jacking due to missing so many games due to fixture changes and the fear the new TV would make things worse.
As it turned out this season has been nowhere near as bad as the previous one so hopefulky we see an increase.
As irritating as early KO’s can be (specifically away games), from my POV they’ve come less and less of an issue as we’ve been marching up the table.
A cynical take would be that the people claiming they’d give up the ST were more bothered about results than the irregular KO times.
Yeah, I was suprised when I looked the other week. My lad of 7 is £25. That’s high for a one off.Our ST prices are fine, a small increase would be accepted, although as I have to buy 4 it will sting regardless.
The issue we have is matchday prices, they are too high, especially the £25 for young kids, no other club comes close to that. We only have 7500 general admission tickets to sell every week, and we only did that 4 times all season - 3 of which came at the end of the season with the inevitable surge in demand. The average number of matchday tickets sold to home fans is only about 4500. I think an increase in ST prices is likely as matchday ticket sales can't be bringing in much over and above ST revenues. I think we need to look at this balance a bit.
It’s so worth it though. 2 hours each way for me but go on my own quite a lot so drive is a nice break from the missus and kidsI will be (trying) to get season tickets next season after a year off. It's a huge commitment for me and my kids considering we live 3 hours away, but I've missed it.
All of them in the first season. 5k.It was capped at 5K max but not sure how many of that 5K were sold.
