I think know the answer but… my daughter lost interest and didn’t bother with her seat this season. But my younger lad came to the last seven games using her ticket. Her seat is reserved and I want it for him on his own new account and supporter number etc. Presumably they won’t let me do that before general sale? Swing of £125 between u18 (daughter) and u14 (him) and want him to start earning his own points.

i think the point is there might not be a need for a waitlist after the 19th, depending on how many renew. So you’re paying a tenner for no reason.

There is a need for a waiting list because there are no ‘available ST’ right now. The retention rate for current STHs will probably be 85-95% which means there will only be 2000-4000 STHs available after the 19th June at the most.

So yeah, if you want a ST that badly, it makes sense to pay to get to the front of the queue after the deadline has passed.

You can move to unreserved seats. There just aren’t many available.

Last season I had to ring up the ticket office to move my seat and they were helpful to be fair. There’s also STHs who need to move out of the FZ because they have turned 18.

Introducing a paid waiting list when we've only sold 10,000 out of 24,000 seems a bit weird tbh.

Why do we cap season tickets, would the club not prefer to sell every avaliable seat and save ticket office costs etc with having to only process away match tickets and corporate packages..

Club has to potentially offer the whole south stand for cup games. As we guarantee season ticket holders the chance to buy a cup ticket, we have to do it on the basis of no south stand being available.

Also a ground full of season ticket holders means no opportunity for the next generation of fans to start attending

Liverpool only have 27k season ticket holders although that's because it produces more money through tourist fans. We need match day tickets available for occasional fans though.

It’s all fantastic but bizarre after what our fans went through. I can genuinely see us needing the creation of another 8000 seats one day. The City has become quite obsessed with the ‘City ‘ !

That is morally horrific. F*ck over local people who built the club so you can bring in day trippers from Korea and America.

There is now an official waiting list to get season tickets. Ten pounds to join it.

Figures for season tickets are very likely to hit 24k season ticket limit. Getting a match day ticket will be quite difficult for quite a lot of games if we do well. Could be only 4 or 5k available for buying match tickets. Time for US to start singing the painful song in reverse and NOT AWAY fans "Our ground is too small for us". Getting back to our true potential .

I thought we had the 5th largest average attendances in the country in season 67/68 , However this site indicates tenth
Premier League 1967/1968 - Attendance Three years running in top 11 and note more fans than Arsenal in 67/68!

Makes the sick bogus plan by SISU look totally ridiculous.

I'm not going to lie, compared to where we were just over 10 years ago and people lapping up the tiny ground at the Uni, to have a waiting list for STs is mad 🩵

I am trying to get two season tickets, one for myself and one for my nephew. Is it only £10 on the waiting list for the pair of us as its only asking me for £10 to join the list even though I have requested 2 season tickets.

the figure of 20% not renewing every year is being thrown around on socials but it could very well be one of those facts that has no basis in reality. Seems pretty high to me. every season ticket holder near me seems to have been going forever.

You would hope they’ve done their research in terms of ST retention before asking people to shell out on a waiting list. As things stand, with only about 200 people on the list, there’s no need for it - but we’re only a couple of days in of course.

We're lucky, we sit above the stairways, so only 7 seats on our row.

Only time there's an issue is towards the end of a game when people leave their seats early to stand on the stairway. Not sure why they do it. We have to stand up then.

West ham i believe had a 94% retention last year .. so i cant see why we'd only have 80%
