As posted on about thread…because it’ll be all over until actual prices & facts are published.

How about we all stop the fooooking knee jerk reaction until some actual facts are published & react to that, rather than the rumour BS that gets spouted about.

If we're not going to discuss rumour and conjecture may as well shut the forum down for the summer as they form the basis of most threads on the front page.

We've had, by our standards, an incredible 8 years.
Selling tickets at the minute is like selling ice cream on a hot day.
Mr. Whippy has to be a bit more creative if he wants to punt 99s when it's minus 6.

Get that & agree. Yet some of it is pure conjecture that just sets pulses racing & causes issues, as seen with this.

Anything referring to money that ‘we’ spend will causes problems, as opposed to light hearted transfer/kits design rumours etc. Some things imo are best steered clear of until actual fact is in front for discussion.

To be fair, some of its come from an ITK. Anything he post get discussed at length so this wasn't going to be any different. And given his info is fairly good I'd imagine there is something to it.

In the family zone, yes, but outside of that our kids tickets are expensive.

Don't know where to get a list of all clubs prices and available concessions.
Would be interesting to see one.

Trying to have a look now, started with Wednesday as they normally are quite high. The lowest is £355 in the kop for under 21s and then its £430 and £475

Again I’m quite reasonable, will agree. But until we know…. We don’t know. I can go round in circles with this. Let’s wait & see, then react to facts.

Over 17 to 21 is £355.
They do an U17 for £220 and an U11 for £110.

Was most looking at the 17-21 as that’s the concessions we’d be getting rid of no, Unless I’ve misread it?

I go to the BBC for facts.

I come here for rumour, conjecture, conspiracy theories, general bollocks, and LOLs.

Please don't take that away from me.

Anyone remember the cut off date for ages? For example if my daughter turns 18 in March, and we're still in some sort of 16-18 price band scenario then she'll be good for that, right? I assume it's age on the 1st September

I think last season you got a reduction if you were under 21. I would guess if King is looking at changing things it's the 18-21 he's looking at.

This is from last year:
Age bands for concession Season Tickets, where applicable, are calculated based on the supporters’ age as of 31st August 2024

FZ maybe a tad less populated with those Adult prices. Not sure he's got that right. We'll see.

For a normal Joe like myself, a 10% increase over 3 years isn't too bad.

I think that's the 3 of us out

We were planning to move from the FZ as my lads now 15 and daughter 10 going on 11

If we stay there for price, but not enjoyment, its £600 up £150 from last year

If we move like we wanted too, its £815, so double what we paid last year

I get it that prices needed to increase, fair enough, but the best part of a grand for a family of 3 to sit where the atmosphere is, i just cant justify

Shame

They have... and I buy 2 of those tickets.

There's two ways of looking at this... what you have put or we've had it good previously (was even better when it was £50 from memory!) & it's now priced accordingly.

There won't be an uproar over it, like 23/24, because I, and others, can relocate to a cheaper area... I have the choice to pay & stay or relocate.

Well, it’s not right that a child + adult ticket is cheaper than a standard adults ticket.

The ticket prices for the young supporters remain cheap and that’s the main thing.

46+ hours of entertainment. Works out roughly £5 each per hour. It's pritty good value for money if you can afford it mate. Might be worth seeking out the ST fund thing.

Clearly a strategy to replace some existing FZ fans with movers from the premium zone.

Less tickets sold but >income, but will it damage long term loyalty?

Block 20 is a premium block. You would pay significantly more for a seat on the half way line at any other ground.
