Completely agree with these comments but would also add that his strength and fitness seem to be ultra.

Last season he looked too weak to handle physical nature and the demands of a two game week championship.

But now and especially under Lampard he’s been battered a few times but got up and shaken it off.

He also just just runs and runs whether going forward or defending-never stops.

Kudos to the strength and conditioning team at the club as a lot of players look far fitter than last season.

Wonder how much of this is down to Chris Jones?
Find his fitness coach turned football coach CV intriguing. Wonder if he still plays a part in the fitness and conditioning.

Finally we have a nasty Centre Back who will seek revenge...Kitching laid one on that Sheff Weds winger (Dolin I thin) who left a stud in Saka's knee earlier in the season at the CBS (given as accidental....)

Nah, it won't. You ought to have heard the abuse Haji was getting from those around me at Derby last Tuesday.

He was poor but no need for the abuse.

I'll never forget how a lot of fans were abusing Collins at Portsmouth. Some of the most shameful things I've heard from City fans directed at their own player. Some of our fans really are scum.

Still think Kitching got flaws in his game but the biggest compliment I can give him is that I’d hate to play against him. I think he’d get sent off 7 times a season in the prem with VAR catching all his off the ball shenanigans. Proper hard bloke.

The full 90 minutes is on YouTube. Rigg took Sakamoto out again on 54 mins, by the touchline, Kitching and Thomas in the thick of it again

with shit comms like these, showing no passion, make me glad we've got Eakin and Oggy. Sounds like nasty Coventry were hard tackling and all over poor innocent Sunderland. Bunch of fucking wet-wipes.

That one by the dugouts I was impressed by how Haji just honed in on Rigg and went straight for him - towering over him too.

It is their own commentary, the video is produced by SAFC.com. They're so dull and lifeless I nearly fell asleep watching it. Clive has gotta be BBC radio's no 1 commentator, top man.

Yeah likewise. I stood directly behind the goal as he watched the 4th goal on the big screen above the stand and after he viewed it, he looked down directly at the fans and genuinely looked like he was about to cry as he was getting abuse.

As bad as he was, he's still only human. Felt sorry for him to be honest.

I thought commentators were OK, they were clearly Sunderland fans but even before we scored were praising us and saying how much on top we were. There have certainly been worse, more biased commentators this season.

Not sure I noticed a massive dip in his performances earlier this season. He wasn't at his best early on, but not many players were.
Saying that though, great to see him hitting form again.

can we show some appreciation for Tatsu, who since we’ve gone back to 433 has looked exceptional and back to his best.

Especially considering he broke his back last year, and some were worried he’d never get to the same level. He throws himself into everything. He has the heart of a lion

For the rest of my life, I will never forget the moment Clive and Oggy came on the big screen at Wembley when we played Man Utd.

That overwhelming cheer and support for our local radio commentary team gave me goosebumps, and is something your average cardboard cut-out Man Utd fan will never understand.

The big thing with Tatsu is that he has supported MVE so well that MVE can now go forward with more freedom and has looked back to his best. JDS finally got similar support against Sunderland and looked way better for it.

Don't care what any fucker says, I love Thomas and Kitching (Thomas the better player of the 2 imo) both the kind of blokes you don't want to fuck with. Nice to have that in the team.

I like that we are a lot tougher under Lampard and they will back each other up, under the previous manager it seemed that we were scared of the opposition and officials.

Robins was scared of criticising the officials ( I think he was too tight to pay the fines) I notice at Stoke he is so maybe he has learnt.

On Saka he is a player that can get you off your seat and they are rare now with all these system players around

Hacket was saying they need to have the guts to reverse the yellow card and make it a red, even though they wouldn't normally do that.
