Safe Standing and Segregation

Capacity must be very close to 32,000 now?

I noticed earlier that flashscores now has us at 32,753 which is different to what they had us at last season and someone behind the scenes purposely changed it for whatever reason.

It's always fluctuated. It would need a recount. The Lionesses game stated it had a 33,400 odd capacity.

Are there plans for the away area to have safe standing?

I thought that away fans always had to be offered comparable facilities?

Surely it would have been open today?

Agreed.

I really didn't think it was bad. The queue to get in was quicker than anywhere else in the stadium. If they open a third bar, it will be all fine.

Loved the safe standing, to be fair. Atmosphere was fantastic there too, although it seemed to be quite special all around the ground tonight.

I also loved where I selected for the season, easy to get out, people around me don't seem like total twats and, most importantly for us short guys, they weren't too tall either.

As far as the concourse goes, it seems quite small with maybe a lack of outlets for refreshments, but I don't drink or eat at games, so not as much of an issue for me

Were stewards really trying to get people to sit down?

It was nightmare at HT, which was weird because we got in at about 7:30pm and the queue moved really fast and we got a couple of pints in.

At HT our queue didn't really move for 10 mins and when it moved it was slow as fuck! when we eventually got served I asked the barstaff what was the holdup and they said it was people buying shots but I didn't see anyone with shots.

They need to sort this because loads of people were leaving the queue when it wasn't moving, loss of revenue! :(

An absolute treat being in the safe standing behind the goal.

Wasn’t sure what I was in for after moving from block 18! Wanted the view we had from the seats we had at wolves…think we got it! View it quality, best seat in the house when we seen Wright through in on goal too 👌👌

One thing they will rethink I imagine is the outdoor smoking areas. Home and away fans just a few feet away from each other. Was a bit interesting shall we say.

The service was ridiculous slow at the bar below block 14, joined the queue with only 3-4 people in front of me, still took 15 mins to get served.

No, but there is someone on here that holds the opinion that everyone will be told to sit down that's not in safe standing and if they don't then there will be consequences. Funnily enough, not 1 person was told to sit down.

Good to hear.
