Don't see what's wrong with him wanting to bring players in. The squad was too big, and doesn't have enough variety. Obviously we need to embargo lifted, but don't know why people are using this to bash him. He already said he wanted to trim the squad from 34 down to 24 and make changes.

So what are the revised numbers now?
We had a squad of 34 that he wants to reduce to 24, and he wants to bring in 7 new players. That means he has to get rid of (34+7)-24 = 17 players (= HALF of last seasons squad will have to go).
So how many players has he actually got rid of so far, which means how many players still have to be got rid of?
The atmosphere when they get back from their summer break is going to somewhat subdued methinks!
He's already told them who he wants and who he doesn't. Out of that 34 he's already got rid of a fair few.

Even if we were not in admin or under embargo, What player of any quality is going to sign for us. We have no ground, the club has no money and even who owns us is up in the air. So who the heck would they be being paid by?
If we do get new owners (please God) Pressley will be gone. I have no faith in the guy. Even when he is on tv he looks like he has just woken up of a park bench
