also i know i keep saying this but IF we get promtoed THIS year then i could see renewing season long loans for armstrong, murphy, morris, kent(if we get him) etc

the clubs just want to see thir players progress. league 1 2015 to championship 2016 is well paced progress for young players.

they would also be good enough for the step up imo and the continuty of tactics etc would probably mean we wouldnt be in a relegation battle in our first season back....then who knows int hat crazy ass league.

Why would you prefer him to punch? How about just working on taking crosses?

Because he tried 3 times to catch on Sunday and dropped them all. That now means he is going to be less confident against Scunthorpe as a result. Therefore, punch the bleedin thing.

Unless of course you think that in less than a week he can suddenly start catching the ball and has suddenly magically found some confidence from somewhere. :D

Yes, work on catching the ball, but that is going to take a bit more time than 6 days, so for now, just punch it!!

Ahh, that old chestnut.

Sunday's mistakes could have quite easily cost us and we all know that. Lucky for us that it didn't cost us and our defence got him out of jail. Just because we were lucky enough it didn't cost us on Sunday, the likelihood is if he keeps fumbling the ball it will cost us points.

All ifs and buts, yet it still stands, Burge has not lost us any points thus far, we're 2nd, have faith, sing his name saturday, give him confidence and support like all the young players need.

Haven't seen anyone not give him support in games.

Telegraph saying press conference at 12.30. Mowbray expecting to announce he's signed. Just watched the video, looks a cracking player!

A front four of JOB (or Lameiras), Kent, Armstrong and Murphy are going to tear L1 defences to shreds. Strap yourselves in for the ride, ladies and gents. :)

Because there some sad cases on here mate. This thread has gone from the possibilty of signing Ryan Kent to Leigh Burge's abilty or inability to sacking Steve Ogrizivic because Burge probably won't become the new Lev Yashin, i'm afraid some just love the oxygen of their own publicity.

I've not been a supporter of Oggy for quite some time and I believed that when TM came we should have had a clean sweep.

Don't want to be persnickety, but it was 3 crosses he dropped, not just a couple.

As someone said on another thread on the same topic, if say Chris Stokes kept making mistakes every week that nearly led to goals would we expect him to not be dropped, even if we won? He'd be dropped for sure.

And back on topic, fab signing. I can't wait. What a forward line we have now!!!

Sorry mate but you are an arse . We are second in the division, playing good, in fact very good football, we have hope after years of shite to be honest, we are doing better than many thought, including you, We won a tough away match at the weekend away against a very good Burton team who will give many a decent game and for a week you and others have moaned about our goalie and yes he flapped at a few crosses and yes the jury is out on him being good enough or not, but if you really think he is a liability who should be jettisoned out the team blame one man, the only man responsible for what looks like your evential wishful Burge balls up that costs us points and thats the manager Tony Mowbray, it is he who writes his name on the team sheet no-one else.

'Highly recommended'

"I'm looking to make an impact and get as much game time as I can.

"I know a few lads here from the England set-up and the club comes highly recommended by people back at Liverpool who know Coventry well."

Couldn't agree more. Mowbray will decide whether he is good enough or not, not any of us morons on a forum. Whilst he is nets lets back the lad. I think he has shown potential, yes shaky at times, but in my eyes so was Murphy, look what Oggy turned him in to.

Top top signing. Very exciting

Yet another great signing. From relegation possibilities to second place in what, 8 games? Well done TM and all your backroom staff for helping to create all the positive news surrounding CCFC at present. Saturday can't come soon enough.

More good news and apparently there may be another, could it be another Liverpool lad Cameron Brannigan 19 essentially a right back, he is up for a loan too i believe, very highly rated and with the likes of Nathan Clyne ahead of him will possibly want to try his luck elsewhere.
