It's slightly confusing
Giles was brought in last year to give us options but was hardly used in the first team which must have been frustrating for the lad
It was a surprise when he came back again this season but this time he was involved in the majority of games before Sam came back
He seems to have been more of a squad player since Sam's return, sometimes starting, other games on the bench
We haven’t scored in 315 mins keep Sam at LWB but maybe we should use Giles in the AM rolesPersonally, I’d play Giles higher up the pitch when we’re playing ‘the box’. But, as a wing back, McCallum is just a better defender and with our defensive issues earlier on in the season, it makes perfect sense to sacrifice his attacking skill.
