I went to uni in wolves, my mate from there just text me out of the blue saying he's coming to us.

His comments:

Left back /wing back
He's quality. Would have been featured already but we have Johnny and Vinagre there already
He can play left midfield too

Did he play against us when we lost?

If he's pact he could slot into the westbrooke or Shipley position.

Definitely played LWB for Shrews so slightly odd... Had we not got McCallum back on loan I could see it but ?

Very good prospect though & lightning quick so will be an asset, just depends where we play him.

What does this mean for Jodi then?

Always exciting to sign somebody new, if he is a LB/LWB, I really hope it’s not at the expense of Mason. Amongst the McCallum hype, it’s been forgotten how good Mason actually is, and has the potential to be.

If he’s attack minded though, could be an option as one of the ACM’s, but we already have a plethora. Plus Bright is coming back too so that’s another!

The logical option would be Hiwula out on loan or someone paying a small fee for him and this lad coming in to take his place on the bench

DEADLINE DAY | Ryan Giles is on the verge of joining Coventry on loan for the rest of the Season. Vinagre is due back sooner than expected hence why wolves are prepared to let him go. Bright Enobakhare to covenry isn't dead there's a small chance but unlikely

It says on wiki he was recalled because wolves left wing back was injured. Looks like he played in midfield for Shrewsbury. Was on the bench against us. Scored 1 goal in 25 games for the shrews.

'tis correct but he's recovered sooner than expected hence loaning Giles out again.

Something ‘incredible’ must have came up. Well looks like we’re going to strengthen after all, after the impending doom forecast by some on Twitter.

Maybe having him is part of a bright deal? Could want us to develop him as well as having bright

I’m categorically saying there will be no incomings today and I’ve made no secret of that. It would have to be something incredible to bring in. I had a phone call about Bright Enobakhare the other day about him being interested in coming back but now he’s gone to Birmingham

Yes thats what I was referring to, Giles must be ‘incredible’ enough to change his mind about bringing someone in.

He’s very highly thought of. Will add a different dimension to our game. Bit like Jobello and add width.

He's been playing fluid no 10
He'll score more goals in that position

We already have Walsh, O'Hare and McCallum on loan. If we had 2 more think it would be too much. Suspect they enquired to Wolves about Bright and were either priced out or think this guy is a better fit.

Bright could be a potential permanent signing? I would have loved him back in the summer but feel like he burnt bridges with the whole carry on, off if he is coming or not. I'm not bothered one way or the other with Bright.

This Ryan Giles lad looks decent though and got rave reviews at Shrewsbury, gives us another option and a variation in play.

Wouldn’t blame him. Lack of play time this season has been very harsh.

Attacking left sided midfielder!. Makes sense given the ridiculous amou t of games. Gives a bit more width rather than an attacking Shipley who's more tucked in.

Also he seems like he can cover for a number of positions if there's an injury.
