Think its a huge ask for Dovin to come back from a long term injury and step up to the PL but if we don't get Rushworth it will very much depend what the other options our.

Would quite like Frank to play Wilson in our first game if we go up just to see the meltdown on here.

I’d be tempted to loan Dovin to the Championship for a season to give him that experience that he’s missed out on. It also gives him time to get back to where he was and he gets valuable minutes rather than sat on a bench, because if worst came to worst and we went back down we’d have a Championship ready keeper
Obviously we'd need 2 keepers in but hat would be ideal. We'd also be the 'big club' for once, demanding guaranteed minutes and putting in break clauses etc.

Dream would be Rushy and a older pro as backup

What C'ship club would take a risk on a keeper that's been out for a whole season through recovery just for the benefit of the donor club?

There are reports that a top European team is prepared to pay £50 million for Verbruggen, so Brighton plan to sell him and keep Rushworth. It’s bad news for us but I would do the same in their shoes.

I do rate Dovin though, so if he comes back as the player he was then it’s not the end of the world. I reckon that with another couple of years experience Dovin won’t be too far behind Rushworth.

That’s what I’m hoping for anyway

Was it not rumored that PSG were interested in dovin before he got injured
