I'm happy Burton isn't one. It's miles in the wrong direction for me. We can find better grounds in terms of access, capacity and facilities closer to Coventry.

Couldn't temporary stands be erected at the Butts to take the capacity to 10000. Hope this is one of there options as 'd love to see the Council's faces squirm if it was. I'd love it if this gets announced just love it!!!

I still think Leicester Tigers is an option. No reason it has to be somewhere that's a current football stadium.

Only takes half an hour on the train to Northampton. 15 minute walk or quick bus journey up the road to Sixfields from the station.
Not that I want us to go there.

It's a half hour walk to sixfields from the train station.

I think overall the quickest you will do both is about 45 ins for St Andrews, and 55 for Sixfields.

Think in terms of ease of journey for people living in Cov St Andrews probably easier. But as I have said Sixfields is my preferred stadium.

Looking forward to the banter with the locals again if its Northampton. How dull.

I would be surprised if it was though, as the Cobblers are under different owners now, and I am can't see any real benefit to them for having lodgers there, especially on what would be a long term basis

Never going to be the Butts. The council won't allow professional football to be played there.

They're the freeholder. They made it a conniption that no professional football could be played there as part of approving CRFC's development plans.

It is many years since I visited St Andrews but I when I did I couldn't find any parking spaces anywhere near the ground, but there must be a bus from New St.

Have a feeling that condition was removed when it was outed in the press, though could be wrong. Any concrete evidence one way or the other?

Fair enough if not. Get them down there, that would be a great twist.

The appeal of Birmingham would be the playing surface and stadium and therefore an ability to attract players

Burton saying they have had no recent contact from CCFC does that rule them out?

You possibly could be you'd lose the academy if you did as there wouldn't be room for both.

The prospect of playing to 4,000 fans at St Andrews, should help push a few deals over the line

Agree, the pitch has certainly played a part in some of our games although so have the useless bleeders who couldn't trap a medicine ball too
