Anybody fancy England to lift the trophy ?
Got a great chance but for me it has to be the All Blacks. Dark horses ? Maybe host nation Japan, could cause the odd shock like they did in beating South Africa in 2015, but not strong enough to reach the final.

This could come back to bite me on the arse, but NZ won’t make the final. Could see Wales win it.

I'm prepared to be wrong, but England do not currently have the Big Game mental strength to win it. Wales being top of the rankings is a joke, but so is people reading so much about them losing three warm-up matches. They *could* provide a shock, but i think it's pretty open. Apparently you could get 8/1 on SA not long ago, which is where a lot of the sound money is going.

Assuming there is no smoke without fire, WTF is Rob Howley thinking, putting a fookin bet on?! Mind you, he's not a decent coach - Wales only real dodgy period in the past 10 years was when Gatland took a sabbatical for family health reasons and Howley stepped in.

Mind you, bringing in Stephen Jones, the least attacking outside half in history, as ATTACK coach is a poor decision!

I may regret this but it has to be an All Blacks trophy win. I want England to lift the Cup but for me New Zealand have experience and skill when it matters.

All Blacks just moved up a gear and are showing why they are champions.

Playing for Tonga today v England is a Coventry Rugby Club player called David Halaifonua. I think it will be the first ever Coventry player in a World Cup Finals ?
England will win by a big margin, but great to see Cov represented.

Springboks looked very strong in defeat yesterday. There's better to come and I reckon they'll grow into the tournament.

Currently 11/2 to win it looks big, that'll do for me.

Someone told me tonight that more players from CRFC than Wasps have appeared in the World Cup so far. That can't be right can it?

Wales looked impressive in the first half this morning. Little more shaky second half but they’d made a lot of changes and had already secured the bonus point.

Yes surprised at how poor Georgia were bearing in mind there's been calls to demote Italy from the 6 Nations and allow them in as a more competitive nation.

Almost a shutout against USA, conceding a try with the last play of the game. Overall a pretty solid performance littered with handling errors. Could have quite easily added another 30-40 points to our total.

Japan have caused a shock before beating the Springboks in the last tournament. But to beat Ireland is some scalp.

I reckon they could do a job on the Jocks too, and end up winning the fookin' group!

They totally surprised me. I watched their opening match against Russia. They trounced them. Ireland should have seen something in them, then.
