We are a selling club, we have to be to keep us in the black. I was rather hoping it would be Wright and Simms but if the money was really that good then it will be Rudi.
Wright is higher value than MilanRudi is now our prime asset with Milan being the 2nd highest in value, i would of thought. Would be nice to keep them and add by reinvesting money from dales of the likes of Simms, Wright and BTA but if the money doesn't come in for those 3 then the club have no other option. Creating depth in quality is the aim, so if 2 of the top are sold we need 5 quality signings in across all dept.
Unless deals can be made where we as part of a transfer we can loan the player back with a reduced fee.
The times I’ve seen Bellingham this season I’ve not been impressed, no way near his brothers talent, Rudoni is a much better player.Yeh but Sunderland fans think Bellingham is the best midfielder in the country so surely Newcastle will sign him

Doubt Newcastle are seriously interested at this stage.
But if they are we should be asking for 25-30m.
With a season long loan back.Great move for all parties if it’s £30mn
Exactly this. The only reason we sold Hamer was because we'd of lost him on a free had we not. We're not in that position with Rudoni. He still has 3 years left. If we don't go up next season then I fully expect to lose him but not this summer. Unless it is something silly like £30m+ then we'd be silly to turn it down. I think especially a premier league club. He's not ready yet for the prem so I'd push for a season long loan as part of the deal. Win-win, make money to spend elsewhere, share part of his wages AND keep him for another season.nah i reckon he will be here another year unless it’s silly money.
he’s learning directly from frank lampard and he’s had the (half) season of his life in a club competing at top of the table. Imagine what he will be like after another season especially if we start of firing on all cylinders
He could be worth 50m if we get promoted with him in the teamGreat move for all parties if it’s £30mn
If we were offered some of the mad sums being thrown around in this thread then we'd be crazy not to sell and re-invest.It's Rudoni that got us into the play offs. If we want to push on we need to keep him. Sell him and we'll go back two years
I canYou’ve got to give Rudi another season under Lampard. Every chance he kicks on again and adds another ten mil to his valuation. He clearly likes it under Lampard so can’t see him pushing it. If someone offers silly money then that’s a conversation but I can’t see anyone pushing the sums we’d need off half a season of form.
Not sure he quite fits their system.Sunderland will now have funds, and I can see them making an attempt to sign him.
As could any other club. Just because he’s been watched by scouts doesn’t necessarily mean he’s on his way. We’d hold out for around £20m and reinvest; that’s our model.Sunderland will now have funds, and I can see them making an attempt to sign him.
oh them, it's utter bollocks then if they it's true'Jack Rudoni to follow Frank Lampard out of Coventry amid Newcastle interest'
Frank Lampard has had a significant impact on Jack Rudoni, with the player likely to follow the Coventry City manager anywhere.www.footballinsider247.com
Hope so!oh them, it's utter bollocks then if they it's true
