Leeds United identify 24-year-old promotion winner as potential Ben White successor

If a decent fee came in say 2.5 - 3 million I'd be willing to wheel and deal on this one. What are your thoughts?

Too cheap in my opinion. We’re a championship team now so I wouldn’t sell for less than £5m. We would need to Find a replacement too

For years and years we have been a selling club in the lower leagues. I'm not expecting that to massively change, but now we are in the championship we should demand a bit more if good players have to go. That was one of our previous mistakes when we were in this league. I would demand 5 million.

At 5 million I'd definitely be dealing. Adding a fair bit of that to the budget would make a significant difference. I rate him as a player, just think he might be one of the easier ones to replace whilst being pretty salable.

I follow a few football analysts on Twitter. Since we've signed him they've been saying he's one likely to get to the top. I was impressed with him last year but couldn't quite see him playing Premier League. Would take a decent offer for him for sure.

Didn't take long to revert to the typical City fan's standpoint. Can't we enjoy what we've just achieved before we dismantle the team?! Also, think Leeds will want to secure promotion before determining who they want. Completely different market depending what division they're in.

As a guide from last summer (accepted that there are different circumstances):

30 yo Aden Flint moved between Championship Teams for £4m - due to age, it could not be any lower.
24 yo Adam Webster moved from Championship to Premiership for £20m - even Daniel Levy could not get that amount for Rose.

If they get promoted, and if they really want him then, sadly, he leaves.

The good news for you is none of us (as far as I'm aware) have any influence in whether the team is dismantled or not. We're just commenting on speculation.

I do wonder how long "Mark doesn't have to sell if he doesn't want to" will last when some offers start coming in.
