Have to fancy our chances don't we?

I know we have a poor record against them, but just 1 win in 7 for them in the league and their last 7 (+ EFL Trophy) results look like this:

Walsall A - won 2-1.

Barnsley A - lost 2-1

Fleetwood H - drew 1-1

Peterborough A - lost 2-1

Man City U21 (EFL Trophy) H - lost 2-4

Burton H - lost 4-0

Doncaster A - lost 5-0

Bradford H - lost 4-0

Just 5 goals in their last 7 league games and 19 goals shipped.

Didn't turn the page.

Scrap all that then.

Certain defeat awaits.

Why? The team on the biggest slump in the league is Walsall who have won 4 games in all competitions out of 21

Two have been against us

Yeah, just spotted that.

Think they have only won once in the league since they beat us.

At best a draw, our away record in the North West is atrocious.

I’d fancy City to have more of a chance if they were playing someone in the top 6 on form!

2-0 defeat all over it this one.

First 20 mins... chances galore... Thomas buzzing around causing mayhem... Dale do nothing apart from launching one ball in our half between Burge, a centre half, a full back and their target man...

1-0 down and we never recover... We all know the drill now!

I thought second half yesterday we started to click, the new men looked good. We just need to start putting our chances away,I’m going 0-3 cov
Thats optimism for you, I hope your right but at our conversion rate at present we would need adout 60 shots in 90 minutes to score 3. I would settle for a scruffy 1-0 scoring a fluke goal.

0-18 Chaplin with 10, Baka with 8. That will upset you lot

I'm hoping this is that 1 game in 20 where all our chances fly in. 5-1 City.
They've got to fly in at some point. We have so many shots blocked and we can't keep missing.

Wakefield may well be in and he's got great pace. With him on the left (he can play there) and Thomas on the right we can do a bit of damage.

Bayliss should be back and Kelly is due to be fit again too.

I fancy our chances.

Feel like we'll nick a narrow win here.

I'm pretty much always optimistic.

When you're married to a Russian you always think to yourself that it's almost impossible for things to get any worse.
I feel your pain, Otis.

got to admit, it's a long time since I've looked less forward to an away game.
3 changes on the train, good trek to the ground and an abysmal record there - the joys of supporting Cov.

Defeat in this one will have looking nervously over our shoulder
