Whilst it is obviously sad that he has effectively jumped ship, and maybe just maybe he would have proved a greast manager for us,to me the jury was still out on him.His record was decent but hardly earth shattering. For every time we had won at home we have lost,-won 5, lost 5 and drawn 3.It is just that we have been starved of anything remotely successful for so long, that a trip to Wembley seem to overshadow,a still stuttering league campaign.
Looking at the impact at Bournmouth of a new manager,17/18??? games unbeaten, and Robins gets nowhere near that.In the space of the first 36 days of 2013,we have lost to Carlisle,Shrewsbury,Yeovil and Crewe,3 of them at home. The Wembley dream now looks remote, and if even just some of the teams win their games in hand,we could be looking at 10 points off the play-offs,with games starting to run out.Robins seems to have a history of jumping ship, and Reid,Boothroyd,Adams and Dowie at least had a promotion on their CV,something Robins for all his promise doesn't.
