I think he had a pretty good idea..move to Hudds seemed puzzling at the time.
Looks wise now!

He knew...and so did alot of us..but we hoped it wouldn't be quite this bad

What was Robin's quote about our situation? Sonething along the lines of 'the council really need to help the football club out'

Robins only moved for the money and what SISU does has nothing to do with it remember.
The actions of SISU have absolutely no impact in our ability to attract and keep both managers and players.
Also showing them the Ricoh had no impact either.
It makes me laugh when I think back to the above deluded comments by some on here of that mind set.

Yes I appreciate money is the main factor however the way SISU run this club has a definite definitive impact.

The Ricoh also influenced both players and managers when it came to the crunch.

Ah yes, good old Mark Robins. The club was in his blood for what, two more weeks? Still, at least he's not a 'yes man' unless the question was Huddersfield asking if he'd like some money.

Regardless of what some think of him - he did turn us around last season. Then he did right by himself & his family if the reasons he went were because he foresaw this mess.
I bear him no animosity, & wish him well. Who knows...if he believes the club is "in my blood"...maybe he'll come back one day & march us back to the Premiership

Bazza I think you'll find that McGoldrick turned our season around. It was after McG left that our season came off the rails. I'm afraid I've no time for the 'sky blue' blooded Robins.
