The biggest worry about MR now is his demeanour, he just looks beaten and fed up. He sounds like Geoff Foster on a bad day. Didn’t someone say he lost his Mother recently or was that someone else 🤷‍♂️

Someone who can motivate them better .

But they were motivated against Spurs, but then not against Swansea, motivated against Blackburn and then not Sheffield Weds.

More points to the players surely doesn't it?

Robins is picking a side that was well up for it the game before and then they fail to deliver.

Doesn't make any sense. Why would they be motivated, then not motivated? Then Motivated again.

I don't want Robins out but if he were to leave any time soon then the Sheff Weds manager would be right at the top of my list.

I just hope that Doug doesn't go for a 'name' like fucking Lampard or someone.

Wednesday were tactically better. We are clueless. Motivation is a part of it but that’s not the issue for me. We aren’t shit, then good then shit. Other teams are better than us. Are setup better than us. And setup to beat us.

I’m not advocating we sack robins, but somewhere something needs to change drastically. Not sure where we go from here

It’s 9 games in and a new manager has to deal with the structural issues the team still has. There’s a lack of quality in midfield and defence that needs to be addressed in January.
Exactly .

So what's the point. Unless we drop into the bottom three and start being cut adrift, I think you need to leave it until Christmas.

I have a feeling King wouldn’t wait that long

Not sure where we go from here, I think Robins knows we aren't good enough in key areas but he can't come out and say yea Doug fucked the recruitment up and left us short.

Robins isn’t the issue. It’s King. I’m certain, if left to Robins, we’d have signed a midfielder in the summer. We didn’t. We have no cover at right back, we have a lopsided squad.
Well yup, you may well have a point. It appears that Robins did want another midfielder in and King said no.

We need to do everything we can to avoid getting cut adrift though. At this rate that’s going to happen before Christmas.

With respect to a few posters on here, there’s just too much emotional knee jerking here. You seen after the Blackburn win people serious said we have one of the best CM partnerships in the league. This was after one convincing win.

You had the same in 2019/20 when we won the league. Had some torrid form in Oct-Dec and the same things being said then are being said now. Same as last season after we lost 3 in a row.

We’re 9 games in, there’s plenty of time to sort things out. It will take one good run of form and Robins will be the messiah again.

“The rot”. Brilliant. We won four days ago. Get real

Jesus Christ - you really don’t have a clue do you, the rot that is 4 wins out of 19, absolutely shocking form

I admire your support for Robins, but you can’t hide from the fact we’ve been shite for almost half a season now games wise

I’m sure MR would have brought in James too.

Wasn’t MR complaining about players seeing us as a stepping stone? That’s exactly King’s model though.

The drama is quite ridiculous frankly. We’re all frustrated. We’ve not started as we’d have liked. But let’s get a grip. We’re going to be fine. I think winning the league by 3,000 points is probably gone now but we’ll still probably have a decent season.
There’s nothing there to suggest we will have a decent season

Robins was also let down by 2 or 3 players today , you can set teams up however which way you want but you can't factor in the mistakes that lead to the goals today .. sheaf that's 2 games since his return where he's given the ball away in shit areas to lose us the game

leave it until Xmas and we fuck the January transfer window for whoever comes in

needs to either say goodbye over the next couple of games or stick with him past Jan, although I doubt King will give him much backing in January if that’s the case

this may be nonsense by the way, but I believe Adi went for very strongly disagreeing with DK and plans, and MR wasn’t strong enough to back AV…

I reluctantly agree that his time has come, still plenty of the season to play and we can still reach the play offs if someone can get the team playing as they should. Shame if it does end like this and must go down as a legend, but we need to think of the here and now.
