The Cayman Islands.
No. On paternity leave i beleive

I believe, two of the most important games at the end of the season and he couldn't spare us a few hours.

Shows commitment that does. 😱

The Rob Gurney fan boy approach to talking to Oggy is a bit silly for a professional presenter.

Clive on the other hand sounds like he doesn’t care whether they like him or not he will ask the same questions anyway.

He would have used his press card. Which would allow access into the press box.
I’m not sure that’s how it works. There are not unlimited press places. If he used his press card he did so on behalf of the bbc.

How odd is that, has he been gagged or something. 🤔

Whole thing seems way off to me. It all sounded very forced and awkward . I wonder if eakin and Gurney have had a major fall out. CWR have had their Robins Viveash moment of sorts.
there's no big mystery, just look on his twitter. had a kid 10 days ago, is on paternity leave and only made it to the game at the last minute.

Spare a few hours? His newborn baby is in Coventry but you expect to just drop everything and travel 4 hours to Sunderland to show some kind of commitment? Sure you would be delighted if you were on leave at work and all your colleagues slagged you off for not popping in to show how loyal you are

Makes me laugh, we had years of Clive’s shit, get Rob back.

Rob comes back, Clive leaves and it’s all Rob’s shit we want Clive back 😂

Who ever said that?

I think Rob's match commentary is good, and although I already miss Clive, I'd still listen to CWR.
He just needs to not get sucked into the negativity with the callers after the games when we lose, Clive was a lot more impartial and was a bit of a counter to Rob by mentioning positives

No they haven't, like I said before it is BBC cuts to local media, that's it.

My personal view is that the BBC get their funding allocation the wrong way around, and should spend more on local media and news and less on light entertainment.

You are dead right but not sure you could cut the daytime schedules any more - basically just 2 weekday shows come from Coventry and the afternoon show is shared with Radio WM and is probably one of the most abysmal things you could ever listen to. The presenter is a halfwit and so must the audience be.

Whole thing needs looking at. Small internet service tax, fund local and national news and quality broadcasting properly. The two things the BBC does really well is train talent and report news. The rest I can take or leave.

I note Terry Gibson and Dave Phillips do a lot of co-comms on Sky. One of those would be good if Oggy does drop out too.

Phillips probably burnt his bridges when he tried to attack the club for leaving his son out of the team - who now plays for St Ives

Gurney is lucky that King didn’t ban him from the building following his less than impartial performance at the forum.

I don’t mind Rob but he needs to move on from them fan boy with a mic or I’d prefer someone with more insight.

Wish that was the case. Don't buy him having been on paternity leave given he was at the SOL last week. All very strange really
So he made up all of the pictures holding his baby? Only strange thing is your conclusion

I get it wasn't a normal managerial sacking as MR was and is a legend - But with hindsight, that fans forum was an absolute embarrassment

Lorna Bailey and Rob clearly had the knives out for the owner and some of the questions asked from the hand picked audience were pathetic
