Rob Bonnet, what a p***k! (4 Viewers)

I just heard Today cover the sad news of Bury being expelled from the EFL and couldn't believe how unprofessional their "sports reporter" Rob Bonnet was. You could clearly hear him chuckling away when Michal Hussein asked him his views on the crisis at Bury and then later laughed at the subject of Steve Dale buying the club for a pound.

This is why I think the BBC should stop people like Bonnet and Mark Pougatch covering football. They have no interest in the lower leagues and I doubt they even like football unless Man Utd or another big club is playing (Pougatch for example, knows a bit about cricket, but not much about any other sport he covers). Adrian Chiles and Colin Murray might not speak in a middle class privately educated accent, but at least they seem to be passionate and care about football or the other sports they cover.

I know this may be a bit off topic, but imagine if it was Coventry getting that sort of treatment on the BBC's flagship news programme.

Sky Sports News had a countdown clock yesterday to Bury and Bolton being kicked out of the league like it was transfer deadline day.

Vultures, they bloody love it :( Were they hanging around outside the ground asking fans "how they feel"?
