Don’t think we’ve ever won at St Mary’s either have we?I don't think they will, they drop too many points. Pretty sure their fans would've trade 6 points v Oxford and Blackburn rather than the satisfaction of beating us handily.
If we beat PNE and Bristol, we probably extend our lead at the top of the table and we have a date in December to put the loss v Ipswich to rights.
Idk about all you, I really want this year to be the season we win at Deepdale, probably more than Ipswich or Southampton away.
They've got a tough run themselves; Birmingham, Hull, Boro, Sheff U and ourselves all to play by Jan 21st. Oxford away is potential banana skin for them on Boxing Day. Southampton's run has been good, but in context, they lost their most difficult fixture v Millwall. Beating QPR, Sheff W, Charlton isn't exactly impressive. Leicester and Birmingham at home was impressive, but then again, Birmingham's away form is honking (2-2-6).View attachment 47610
Last 6 form table, wouldn't be surprised at all if that was the top 6 at the end of the season
Crucially even with the Ipswich loss, we are still joint top so nobody has gained on us over that period
Just need to keep focusing on ourselves
There's always a first time. Before we beat Boro in the playoffs, we hadn't won their since 1993 and now we've won the last 4 away there. Throughout the noughties and 2010s, we were dross so we've stacked a fair few boogie teams and stadiums over those years!Don’t think we’ve ever won at St Mary’s either have we?

I think you are safe to remove Stoke.#rivalswatch
1st Coventry DRAW 44pts
------------------------------------
2nd Middlesbrough WON 39pts
_____________________________
Ipswich WON 33 pts
Southampton WON 30 pts
Stoke LOST 30pts
5pt gap to second
9pt gap to 3rd
3/4 won againwe drew which was dissapoitning but should remember that we were better team even when it was 11 Vs 11 we just didn't take our chances. At least we're not playing badly
Bristol game is big. We need to get back that winning feeling quickly and take advantage when some of our rivals start dropping pts again. Ipswich and soton seem most likely and be interesting to see if boros manager is real deal or not
Nothing changes. One game at a time. We start winning again and everything takes care of itself.
PUSB
Likely not far away. 20pt gap and I willI think you are safe to remove Stoke.
Next round of fixtures for our promotion rivals.
Norwich v Southampton
Leicester v Ipswich
Boro v QPR
Stoke v Swansea
Yes, think you are right. I don’t see any of them slipping up.All 4 will win.
Maybe but the new Norwich could trouble Southampton if the Saints play like they did against WBA.All 4 will win.

Not unbelievable that the knickerstitchers full their fingers out and get something against Ipswich. They have the players to do so.
They can also be shite in defence as seen this week.Southampton are scoring loads. I'd be surprised if Norwich beat them.
I think Southampton will fly up the league. Thankfully we've got 14 point lead.
Norwich will give Southampton a game, they are not a bottom 3 club. They can also be shite in defence as seen this week.
They also have to play Us, Millwall, Boro, Blues away, Hull and Sheffield United in the next month and a bit. Also Oxford away which is a potential banana skin.

Sargent went off injured last night, plus another key player apparently.Norwich will give Southampton a game, they are not a bottom 3 club.
Won their last home match.Sargent went off injured last night, plus another key player apparently.
They can't buy a win at the moment.
Let Ipswich win that one its much more funImagine wanting Leicester to do us a favour...
If we beat them the gap is 20 and im removing them from the rivals list!Great day! Let Middlesbrough keep winning as long as they rest slip up. We’d have to really bottle it to finish below Southampton now.
Ipswich now need 0.53 points a game more than us per remaining game for the rest of the season to go past us. Southampton need 0.69 points a game more than us.I’d love us to smash Ipswich at home because it’d make up for that loss but also put us so far ahead of them it almost out of reach.
After what point do you add PNE and/or Millwall to that list?If we beat them the gap is 20 and im removing them from the rivals list!
I'm not sure tbh. I just don't think they can mount a challenge to us. I guess it would depend on our own form over next few weeks and wether we let anyone have a chance. After what point do you add PNE and/or Millwall to that list?
Just saying as you still have Stoke in there who are already falling away. Generally agree though, we can lose a third of our remaining games and still just lose 10 overall for the season.I'm not sure tbh. I just don't think they can mount a challenge to us. Once a few of the rivals are removed from the list it really could be a case of realising we're gonna be in the premier league next year.
Stoke just made the original list as decent start, squad and an amazing manager so had potential to challenge that's all and tbf they hung around for a while. If hit 20 point gap they will be removed.Just saying as you still have Stoke in there who are already falling away.
