I don't think they will, they drop too many points. Pretty sure their fans would've trade 6 points v Oxford and Blackburn rather than the satisfaction of beating us handily.
If we beat PNE and Bristol, we probably extend our lead at the top of the table and we have a date in December to put the loss v Ipswich to rights.
Idk about all you, I really want this year to be the season we win at Deepdale, probably more than Ipswich or Southampton away.
They've got a tough run themselves; Birmingham, Hull, Boro, Sheff U and ourselves all to play by Jan 21st. Oxford away is potential banana skin for them on Boxing Day. Southampton's run has been good, but in context, they lost their most difficult fixture v Millwall. Beating QPR, Sheff W, Charlton isn't exactly impressive. Leicester and Birmingham at home was impressive, but then again, Birmingham's away form is honking (2-2-6).
Again, the run rate required from Southampton and Ipswich is more or less WWWWWL for the rest of the season. If they maintain that, fair play to them.
There's always a first time. Before we beat Boro in the playoffs, we hadn't won their since 1993 and now we've won the last 4 away there. Throughout the noughties and 2010s, we were dross so we've stacked a fair few boogie teams and stadiums over those years!
