The East stand was top notch but the other 3 stands were dire.
The days of just turning up watching football and going home had long gone.
Clubs realise that just as much money could be made outside that 90 minutes and HR was unsuitable.
Parking was poor particularly if you were a resident.
Personal experience for me was having my car broke into on several occasions during night matches.
Good decision to move but poorly implemented.

WHAT you could afford a car?☺

ive always put a lot of the decline of the town centre being caused by us moving ,.the three tons ,sword ,all putting djs on on a Saturday dinner time , as for parking ,yeah ok not great but you could ,but a walk from train station ,walk from pool meadow , a local bus route on the way ,.And in the two tone ,punk/new wave era , Coventry was the place to be .Hell of a lot of other fans miss HR as much as we do . There was a pride of being Coventry , I still hav it and my son has aswell ,
