Gillingham are ordered to leave their training ground after failing to pay bills.

Medway Council claim the League Two side owe more than £34,000 in unpaid utility bills and charges for using Beechings Cross.

Alan Jarratt, deputy leader of Medway Council, said: "The money owed is not a small figure, and it is public money provided by the taxpayer."

Could this be an indication of what could happen to us in a few months time for continued non payment of the rent ?

on a positive note - i'd of thought the council would of been kicking up a stink if we were signing players and active in the transfer market and still behind with the rent?????

The rent will be paid at some level I expect when money comes in from player sales.. they are just hanging on as long as possible...
