They do seem to have tamed the collar down a tad, plus the V neck isn't as plunging.

MMMMMMMmmmmmn plunging might need a cold shower

seriously tho that collar was bizarre. I watched a program on Admiral, seemed such a weird set up. think they were hand sewing England kits the night before games and driving through the night to deliver them

From Wiki:
In 2011, Admiral Sportswear Limited acquired the rights of the Admiral trademark for most of Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, with the intention of revitalizing the heritage sports brand.[1] In the 2010s, Admiral continues to sponsor a number of football teams around the world.

Sainsbury's holds the licence to retail Admiral Gold, Admiral Retro and Admiral Performance ranges in the UK.

Could the club not ask Sainers to make them up a batch of authentic ones

I'm sure we had admiral ones on sale not so long ago. Potentially when the shop was at Gallagher.

They had the retro admiral tracksuit on sale in the shop a few years back, not sure about the shirt.

Not sure how that would sit with Nike being the kit suppliers at the minute?

I don't think it would be a problem as Just sport supply the kits from Nike, the new brown retro kit is made by Scoredraw who are nothing to do with Nike.

Would be nice for fans to vote on the next retro shirt.....more likely to get more sales with the most popular being re-made.

The club Twitter said it's accurate and from 81 although going by the replies it seems it might never have actually been used in a game
