You actually reckon he'll go? 4 year deal? We'd had been third if we'd held our lead in Scunthorpe.

Interesting thought. Given Sisu's normal behaviour, if they were to sack SP, would the contract be honoured without a fight? 'We batter people in court' remember.

Give it a bloody rest with the 'batter people in court' comment. It's boring now.

More expensive to be relegated , i cant see him lasting much longer

A contract doesn't necessarily mean that the longer it is, the more expensive it is to end it as Glen assumes over the course of four million identical posts in 10 minutes. If they inserted a get-out clause for a groundshare that was definitely going to last at least three years plus an optional two, I suspect they may have considered a get-out clause for a managerial contract.

SISU love throwing away money, they've proved that throughout their reign and particularly during the Shitfields debacle and the needless JR battles, administration etc.

Also weighing up the cost of paying him off vs relegation to the bottom tier of the football league I think they would rather face up to yet another mistake than slip through the trap door. Proven manager who has been there and done that is what is required. Not some up and coming 'potential' who has done fuck all in a second division mid table Scottish side dreaming a dream about playing 11 youth teamers as if he has the class of '92 at his disposal!

i desperately want pressley to succeed here. i like the guy and i buy into his footballing principles. however, it just isnt happening. we are in a massive decline at the moment and confidence in the group is at an all time low, even worse when you take into account the age of the majority of our team. something has to change

The average age of the first team squad is 25 , just all the fogies keep getting injured makes it look lower

hence why i didnt use the words average and squad. we are desperate for them senior players to come back especially given their key positions

Just how crazy things can change. I dunno, always rated him. Always wanted him to succeed, just hoping we'll turn a corner in the opposite way to Scunthorpe.

Struggling to back him anymore though.

After the game when he was boarding the coach, he was angry but took time to sign me some autographs. I asked him that was so awful by the players, he said fully agreed with you , and he said he going nowhere when some other chap asked him.

The thing is, if you look at the stats nothing has changed. Results have been poor for a year. Only now we haven't got that points cushion to stay hanging around mid table because we have started the season poorly this time. Making it more noticeable.
