Im not going to lie after saturday i was one of these negative people who thought the season was over.

However after looking at our next six fixtures this season is still very much alive. we need to bring in a new manager early this week.

Then

Scunthorpe (A)
Colchester (H)
Hartlepool (H)
Portsmouth (A)
Doncaster (H)
Walsall (A)

realisticly we NEED at least 16 points out of these and to be honest i wouldnt accept anything less !

shame we have to play some of those game at home that ruins any chance of getting enough points !!!

Yeah i was one of them as well, but your right, also 30 points available from the next ten games, 77 points would see us in the play offs? So we actually can afford to drop points providing we win/draw our games.

We are not ready for promotion as a team, Saturday proved that beyond doubt. We need to gather ourselves in the summer and make a consolidated push from the start next season.................if we have a club in League One of course !?

No good can come from this kind of thinking.

Accept the failure, let is wash over you. You'll thank me in the long run.

Have you also noticed teams at the bottom tend to get results later in the season as they are fighting for survival.

If we get 10 pts from those games that's about as good as its going to get.

Not going to accept this season as failure considering the start of the season we had but understand where your coming from do believe last season we went 7 games unbeaten when we were fighting for survival

Yep. You can find at this stage of the season that the teams at the bottom are much harder to play than the teams at the top.

What we could really do with is games against teams floating around safe in midtable with nowt to play for.

Scunthorpe, Colchester and Hartlepool are going to be really, really tough games I'm sure.

Can we not get back to thinking about one game at a time. I know that is a boring cliche, but each win gets you closer so 3 points at Scunny would be a good starter.

we need to play football - and not the defensive crap we tried on saturday
saying we were going to win 1-0 . Then scoring in 1st minute, which meant Carsleys plan was to defend that for 89 minutes

We only play well when we play the ball on the deck

season not over yet, but it will be if we dont go back to what we are good at

How many points would you expect from the following 6 games

Carlisle a
Shrewsbury h
Crewe h
Yeovil h
Swindon h

I would expect a minimum 11 points
How many did we get ZERO

Sorry to say your expectations are wide of the mark. But hope u are right.

I did hear that someone did in fact do a Di Canio type midnight break in to the CCFC offices at the Ricoh in order to remove photos and memorabilia of all our successes.

The perpetrator was only in there for 4.25 seconds.
