There won't half be a massive relegation battle on tomorrow. These are the fixtures involved:
Sky Blues - Palace
Bristol City - Leicester
Reading - Portsmouth
Peterborough - Millwall
Forest - Doncaster
Any thoughts?
My predictions are probably -
Wins for Leicester, Coventry, Reading, Millwall and Forest.
I think that we need Forest to win for survival. A draw would just bring donny closer to us, and they still have 2 games in hand. It does seem that it is going to be seriously tight, and this matchday is gonna be unbelievably tense. Good luck coping, boys!

that is nonsense, if you are going to get out of the crap you need to catch the teams above you, not worry about the ones below! If Donny are below you it's because they are worse than you are and probably even more unlikely to gain points during the rest of the season.

It's all moot. Pompey, Bristol and Doncaster aren't up to much, and they are the three we hope will go down. CCFC just have to be better than the lot of them during the run-in; in order to do that, our away form has to improve, because we sure as hell aren't going to keep winning every home game. It is 100% down to the team - we can't rely on a "be less worse than the other three" strategy.

I think Forest will pull clear anyway, so probably a Forest win would be a good thing for us They still have to play Pompey and Millwall too I believe, so if they can beat them too that in turn will help us.

We are still very dependant on teams failing though. At the moment Bristol (awful slide) and Pompey (10 point deduction) have given us some hope.

Not so sure Bristol will keep losing games from now until the end of the season though. Got a felling they may get a bit of an upsurge at some point.

Probably when they play us.

For what it's worth

City v Palace - Draw.
Bristol v Leshtur - Draw
Reading v Portsmouth - Reading win
Peterborough v Millwall - Draw
Forest v Doncaster - Draw

We have to think of dragging teams above down because if the teams below win there games in hand were going to be bottom so old fox is right we have to win and hope forest v donny draw millwall lose bcfc lose then its game on,however we still have to focus on our own games

But as I say, to my mind Forest will pull clear anyway. If that's the case then we could do with Forest beating all our rivals (Millwall, Donny, Pompey).

Otis I know where your coming from but forest are down there for a reason too, they having a few good results at mo but at this stage It's about fight and heart and its down to us to save ourselves not to keep relying on others

Agreed, Otis, a huge evening.

As we saw a few weeks ago, there will be surprise results, and I have a sneaky feeling that Brizzle may do well against the six-fingered in breds (or inter-breds as block 15 call them).

The Peterbrough-Millwall and Forest-Doncaster games could go either way....Forest and Millwall wins would be a disaster.

More than anything, WE MUST WIN TONIGHT...this is one of the games we must have earmarked for 3 points.

Let's not have to go to Brizzle needing a win, eh?

Indeed.

Think we need at least a point on our travels before we play Bristol, cos if not, we will lose that one too.

Also, to go their needing to win would be too much to ask of this team.

It will be a huge pressure game...even more so for the team that needs to win.

Yep. To go into an away game having to win when you've lost 13 on the trot is an all but impossible task.

What we need by the time we play Bristol is for them to have to win the game to catch up with us.

Absolutely, mate....this is one of the biggest factors in our struggles this season...a lack of a collective spirit and will to win games.

Even against Barnsley - considering all of our games are MUST WIN - did you see our lads really up for the game, going at it from the off...against a team who didn't give a toss???

Nope.

Our lack of passion, fight and spirit, greatly worried me in that first half against Barnsley. You wouldn't have thought anything was at stake at all.

Tonight I want to see and up and at them approach to the game.

Otis if that's what you want mate your better off staying in watching arsenal mate,I can't remember the last time we scored in the first ten mins of a game

You'll be able to read a lot into the spirit in the camp after Clingan's penalty decision...did that cause a rift....as Sheff likes to portray himself as the main man, from what I hear.

If we give a flat display tonight it won't augur well for the rest of the season....

I meant in the league cup games don't count as we play against weaker sides, in the league tho have we scored in the first ten mins even fifteen minutes of a game

Don't have to be that score in the first 10 mins.

What I am talking about is putting the opposition on the back foot from the off, knocking them out of their stride, putting down a marker. If we can start to dominate the game early on then the goal(s) don't have to come then they can come later in the game.

Sometimes when you knock a team out of their stride you can upset their game plan completely.

Sisu can take the blame for the lack off squad quality however thorn and the players have to take responsibility on the pitch when the game starts

Well whatever the lack of quality the squad has, there is no excuse for a lack of passion, spirit and fight.

Not seen much of that this season at all. Usually a team lacking in quality tries to compensate by batttling, harrying, chasing lost causes, fighting for every ball and playing with a bit of spirit and determination. It's how lower league clubs cause cup upsets against better quality opposition.

Can we beat Birmingham if we play this way? Damn right we can. We've just had two local derbies though when a lack of passion and fight has been clearly on display. More often than not local derbies are blood and thunder affairs, rather being than one team lying down and feeling sorry for themselves.

|IF we win then forest/donny draw would be great,2 pts away from donny and 2pts closer to forest who could lose confidence

but if we lose or draw a forest win would be ok if bristol lose too

but we need as many options as possible so need forest to drop pts tonight

BUT WE MUST WIN OURSELVES,thats most important

Should have followed my instincts down at William Hills, eh????
