Yesterday was his first full 90 mins, he is nowhere near ready physically yet. couple more U23's and then potentially start getting last 20 mins of games to ease him in. I think he will be outstanding playing opposite Jones. Maybe we will not see that until Oct/Nov - but should be worth the wait, and be great for the 2nd half of season.

He played 90 minutes for the u23's and scored last week as well against Leeds, this wasnt his first game.

I think this guy is a great signing. But he might need time to adjust to a higher level. Pre season friendlies and U23 games are a big step down from league football.
Fans, don't demand or expect too much too soon.
