LinkedIn - I literally re-post stuff and log on each day to play the games!hahaha no i don't think i've ever actually posted on there other than updating my jobs. I just find it good for easy applying and reaching out to old contacts.
I avoid LinkedIn like the plague. It’s become Facebook for professionals. It’s certainly has its uses for job seekers though. It’s my first port of call when looking at vacancies.LinkedIn - I literally re-post stuff and log on each day to play the games!
You left out the obligatory ice facial at 4:35.TomRad definitely posts on LinkedIn that he's up at 04.30 doing hyrox before having a coffee at 05.00. Then time for shooting some emails at 05.15 and then spending 5 precious minutes with his young child(ren)

Best of luck with the Interview, I'm retired now but took voluntary redundancy twice during my working life and remember taking a couple of absolutely crap jobs while looking to get back into my trade.Job Market at the moment is bloody awful
Got a final stage interview for somewhere on Monday but aside from that pretty slim pickings, the odd call here and there
Redundancy was one of the best things that happened in my career. But it helps to have a buddy who can coachUnder consultation
Shit aint it. Anyone else been through/going through the same. Dropping it on us at Christmas is a nice touch i feel

Came to have a rant about the job market and saw this thread lol got the heads up about redundancy end of November and confirmed 9th December. Got my payout so decided to relax over Christmas and not get too stressed but I've only got enough money to see me to the start of March and pay those bills on the 1st now.Job Market at the moment is bloody awful

Started a new role on Monday mate, still in cyber security. Fair whack of a drop in pay but better than fuck all!
Same here, start a new job on Monday 16th. Similar role commissioning AV systems but on the boring side of the industry (corporate rather than marine/residential). No more super yachts but a big pay increase (admittedly from shit all) so I'm happy.
Good to hear. Especially as I seem to be regularly hearing about people who have applied for literally 100+ jobs and heard nothing back.
Do you think your new employers are worried that you would leave if a better paid opportunity comes up? And if one did, would you leave? Or has the bottom fell out of the market for that type of work?Started a new role on Monday mate, still in cyber security. Fair whack of a drop in pay but better than fuck all!
I can't see that really the need is massive really,at least that's what we're led to believe?Do you think your new employers are worried that you would leave if a better paid opportunity comes up? And if one did, would you leave? Or has the bottom fell out of the market for that type of work?
