I think there is a reason for Anne Lucas to be very quiet and everyone thinking she has no intention of resolving issues, never met the woman but i feel that she wants whats best for the people of Coventry and also is a sky-blue fan. I think there is something going on at the moment and everyone is being sworn to secrecy is and is hopefully good news for a change! Firstly a statement is issued from Anne lucas that she wants to meet up with Joy and then it goes very quiet then the sudden appearance of Haskell for a few days leads me to believe something in the wind - watch this space as i hope my hunch is correct

The quietness could just be statement withdrawal syndrome.

I think you're right covboy.

On Sunday, Joe Elliott kept greeting the fans with his hands in the air and fingers crossed. That surely means something is happening doesn't it? What else could it mean?

1) He hopes everyone forgets his involvement with previous CCFC Boards?
2) He hopes no-one asks him to sing?
3) He's telling porkies all the time?
4) Him and Anne are an "item" ?

:D

He will have learnt from previous experience that getting the fans hopes up rebounds on him and Gary Hoffman.Think that something is happening either with or without Sisu included

That's not optimism to me!

Maybe not you NW, but when you remember how excited some people got when JE & GH were spotted in the Varsity with some orientals, then you must agree that it could be to others? :)

i'll just go for number 1. He must have told the truth once in his life. I think he hopes that when all this is over and these scumbags have gone, we will forget.

Could it be that Nice but Tim's brilliant business plan of losing *£172,000 every "home" game at Sixfields PLUS the fans forum reactions PLUS the march to Broadgate PLUS the Sunday Ricoh attendance PLUS the almost total alienation of 90% of the CCFC fan base finally dawned on the mighty SISU and Joy and is about to be scuppered.

(* Ricoh: 1 x home game x £20 x 10,000 gate = £200,000 gate money per game
Northampton:1 x home game x £14 x 2,000 gate = £28,000 gate money per game
= £172,000 loss per game)

Equates to £4M loss of gate money per season if so how on earth did this not satisfy basic financial scrutiny beggars belief !!!

It would look worse over a number of years if your estimation is correct 5 year plan £20 million loss
