Right just want to start a thread stating that we still have a long way to go to before we reach the play offs in terms of points and a team. Next week could determine our season, I think next season will be our most important as we couldn't sign players last pre season! The hype and form of the team is good at the moment but we are still a long way off from a championship side? Give robins a pre season and I think we will win this league next season thoughts?????

pretty sure that the majority of the 31k attending Crewe realise we may come short this season and JPT is our best shot of success this year.

Have been an avid supporter for years but never been to a play off game of any sort.
Are we the only team in the leagues that's never been in a pay off game (outside the Prem)?

Play offs are beyond our reach this year - Robins will need some money to build a squad capable of winning the league next year - not sure he will get what he needs - we can't do this on a shoe-string budget - not even Robins can

Think he can do it on frees and loans

I expect to go to Wembley twice this season. Whether we come away with silverware is another matter.

Yes maybe but isn't it just too much of a risk? We could be down here for years if it goes just slightly wrong - Robins if he continues as he is will not want to stay in this league and will need success too - eventually I think he will be poached by another club if he's stuck in League 1 doing a fantastic job with freebie players but not quite getting enough to take it to the next level

Lose Robins and we are really screwed - we HAVE to make it also a certainty we can go up - to do that we need a championship standard team and for that we HAVE to spend - very short-sighted of SISU not to invest now in the team - it wouldn't take much

Some words of warning

Morning all. My JPT tickets arrived this morning and thanks to the Dorset based Sky Blue army I have also secured a lift, thanks must go to CCFC92, cheers bud. I was at the Bournemouth v Crewe game last weekend, courtesy of a good mate and I think its worth mentioning that Crewe out played Bournemouth for much of the game. Many of my Cherries supporting mates said that they were the best team they had played and i have to say they really did make a game of it. We shouldn't be counting our chickens men, I think its going to be a very close game, maybe won by the odd goal. We will have to be at our very best to beat them. PUSB

whatever happens this season, just to have a team with a little self respect and the ability to win more than one game at a time has been great. It just shows again how bad the setup was after we went down that we weren't able to even have a sniff at the play-offs.

Biggest fear for Tuesday is that we think we are already at wembley, easily done when its been crap for so long. BUT I think robins will have them prepared and have enough to go through over the two legs.
