Marosi - 8 good one on one save, passing was excellent and another good save too. My mom
Dabo - 7 His crossing was excellent today and I think some of the criticism he’s getting defensively is that Rose was poor
McCallum - 7 his touch is so good as is come of his passing. Didn’t really let anything down his side but also didn’t get forward much
Rose - 5 struggled and the missed header for their goal was bizarre
Mcfazdean - 7 solid. Some passing wasn’t great
Hyam - 7.5 thought he was defensively very aware today. Best of the back 3
Kelly - 7 good engine
Walsh - 8 after we conceded he upped his game and it was his clever play and cross that made the winner
Allen and ohare - 7 Allen should have made it easy. Taking the cut and then seeing the added time out in the corner gets ohares score. Interestingly they were too quick to get forward and it kept coming straight back at us
Baka - 7 1 for the goal. He was great for 20 mins then isolated until subbed

Max - 7 1 for the goal. Could have scored header. Some great play in added time to hold the ball in the corner.

If Baka is onside we win easy. Lots didn’t quite work today. However, shipley and Westbrook and Giles all fresh. Would expect max to start on Tuesday and Baka to come off bench.

We didn’t perform to our usual level today but importantly we found a way to win even after being pegged back. That has to give the team and us fans a lot of confidence going forward. We usually mess up against teams at the bottom but not today.
As for ratings I think Marosi, mcfadzean, Allen and Walsh all did well (7s) and the rest 6s. That they were that low and still won says a lot about what I’ve come expect from this group of players and what I’m sure they can achieve.

Marosi 8 two really good saves one each half.
Dabo 6 Brilliant first 15 minutes then got steadily worse.
Rose 5 worst gave have seen he play in a city shirt. Couldn’t believe he wasn’t booked in the first half. Was half expecting him to be sent off he was that late with his tackle.
McFadzean 7 steady again won most of his headers very stable.
Hyam 6 Not quite as good as usual but generally steady.
McCallum 6 good first half seemed to go a little into a shell second half.
Kelly 6 passes were well off today compared to his norm.
O’Hare 8 MOM for me full of running took one hell of an elbow but still came back for more. A live wire sometimes looking for the impossible pass.
Walsh 7 steady performance did really well for the second goal.
Allen 6 loads of running did well with second goal. Could have had a goal but for a really good save. Control poor today.
Baka 7 First 29 minutes or so was outstanding and it was like having a different player. However after his goal was disallowed he seemed to go back into his shell. Second half passed him by till he was subbed.
Biamou 7 made a difference when he came in prepared to have a go scoredmust have been a little disappointed not to have started.

If Shipley or Westbrooke played like Kelly today they'd be slaughtered and getting scored 3 or 4.

Walsh was excellent, Marosi, McCallum, Allen, Baka first half, Max when he came on all decent. Rest worked hard although we were sloppy in possession. Great hard earned 3 points.

Rose...Was completely shocked still shuddering from his non performance..not a single pass completion in first 45 mins.

Should have have got a yellow for first abysmal challenge. Then 10 mins how he didn't get a 2nd yellow for letting ogrady ghost past him the first time like he wasn't there and deluberaktly taking him down as last man beyond belief.

He was 5 secs off the pace all day. Why play him when it's blatantly obvious he's isn't fit

Got out of jail performance today. We were way below par. Deserved to lose imo. They were stronger and better team after they scored.

If Dabo had played like McCallum today we wouldn't have won. Dabo was the only outlet for much of the game. He didn't play brilliantly but influenced the game by getting forward as often as he did. Thought McCallum was very conservative today and hope that is just the week to week variability you get with young performers and not a sign that his head is in Norwich.

Dabo at 75% is better than most at 100%.

Today he was at 75% he was knackered.

We scored with basically our first attack and I must have felt, along with other city fans that we were on the way to a straight forward 3 points.

With Coventry City there is very rarely such a thing. I thought we were incredibly sloppy all over. Distribution from the back 3 was off, as it was from midfield. I felt the team mirrored the crowd in a game that lacked intensity, where we were expected to win and seemed to wait for it to come .

Rose had the worst game I have seen from him and all of their chances came down that side and felt he was responsible for a lot of those being out of position.

We showed glimpses of quality and really, despite what I thought was an average performance, we could and should have scored 3 before their inevitable equaliser.

We did enough though, that is what matters. Today's game always worried me, far more than Tuesday's against Portsmouth. We got through it.

Motm for me was Max. Not only scored the winner but won headers, used his strength aggression to out their defenders under pressure and ultimately added somebody the intensity and tempo that had been missing!

Play Up skyblues!!!

Probably mine as well cant see how he was a 5 in anyone's eyes, was involved with everything ran their midfield ragged.
Came back on with that horrific injury and the first thing he did was head the ball.
Fair play to the lad.

Giving him 5 was stupid he’s one if our best players - always makes things happen

Id have had Giles on second half, felt there was a lot more play to be had down our left.

We struggled hugely to assert ourselves in midfield yesterday and that is why we struggled to kill the game off earlier. Other than Walsh we were poor in the middle. Not sure how people are giving high marks for Allen and O'Hare? Against a massive physical Bolton midfield, both were muscled off the ball and beaten in the air easily. I can only assume Robins wants to start Westbrook, Shipley & Biamou on Tuesday.

Rose and Kelly have both been excellent all season, up to yesterday.

Kelly was very quiet by his standards and that contributed massively to our unusual lack of midfield control.

Rose just had one of those days. O’Grady played very well, but Rose struggled with the basics. 3 times in the first half he mistimed his jumps for standard central defence headers - and then there was their goal. Possibly carrying an injury, possibly just a day that started badly and fell away. His previous performances mean that he has plenty of credit in the metaphorical bank, so forget about today and move on.

Not so sure they were outmuscled they are just very different players to westbrook and shipley who have a touch and look to keep the ball. Allen and ohare are always trying to find a forward pass or make a forward run. It’s more high risk and therefore less likely to come off. Not good or bad just different

Surprised by the high ish marks for Allen. Thought he was the weak link In midfield and his first touch was abysmal most the time. Some good bits too, but but overall though he had a poor game
