Allen less than Shipley?? That alone makes your ratings irrelevant

It's merely my opinion and ignore it if you wish. I thought Shipley looked lively yesterday and if out in by Gyokeres we might have had a good goal scoring position.

I really am not one for hating or criticising players but yesterday I thought Allen was the weak link. Yes he ran a lot but he gave the ball away a lot and failed to play the right passes at the right time. There was the example where he failed to play in Dacosta, but there were also other less glaring examples. He also nearly gave a goal away at the end. If Shipley, Biamou or Sheaf had done that they would have been criticised heavily on here by some.

I really think Allen can play at this level but not if he plays like yesterday.

He was the only player making runs in to the box. Shipley barely touched the ball and when he did he panicked and have it away. There is no justification for giving him higher than allen other you not liking allen.

Where have I ever said I don't like Allen? I do like him, just didn't think he played well yesterday.

I think Allen playing well is just what we need - a goalscoring midfielder with lots of energy.

Shipley made a few good interventions and if Gyokeres had passed to him he would have bedangerous angerous position.

It is a huge stretch to say Shipley played well yesterday. Everything breaks down when he touches the ball, without exception.
