McCallam - I understand why you say that but could have had two goals in first half - one from a corner that was going in but was cleared and the volley that was a foot too high.

Also drew a few clever fouls defensively too. Thought most of the good things during the first half went through McCallum.

A game of 2 halves. Brilliant first 30 mins or so, but outplayed the rest of the game. Dug in and held on. But lack of goals were a concern again today, scored one but couldnt get the second to kill the game off meaning a very nervy second half. Big result given we've had a bit of a knack of dropping 2 points from this position a number of times this season.

How can Marosi be MOTM. He didn't make a save of any note.
The three centre halves were immense.
Hyam. 9
Rose and McFadz. 8

The CBs were great, O’Hare great, impressed with Allen, Walsh a bit less influential than normal.

Walsh has a quieter one today.

Kelly did less on the ball but covered a lot of ground again today. He needs to be banned from shooting though haha

Godden again didn’t have a lot of service but did brilliantly for Shipleys goal. Won the header and then dragged two defenders out the way. Just really good forward play.

And I’ll mention him again because he deserved it. Hyam - fucking brilliant again.

Marosi 7 One good save 2nd half but I thought he looked a bit nervous when a few ball came in 1st half but a clean sheet.

Dabs 8 A good full back but even better especially going forward as a wing back and displayed that again today.

McCallum 6 Struggled today especially 2nd half-time for Mason and to give him a rest.

Rose 8 One of 3 who had solid games-good header off the line in the 2nd half from under the bar.

Hyam 8 Again solid and composure as part of a 3-started off the move that nearly resulted in O’Hares shot hitting the post.

McFadzean 9 A brick wall at the back-man of the match.

Walsh 7 Not as good as he has been a few sloppy passes but a reasonable game on the whole.

O’Hare 8 Lively and buzzing around as usual-deserved his start and it payed off-unlucky not to cap it with a goal but his shot came back off the post.

Kelly 7 Went about his business as we know he does-keeps us ticking over.

Shipley 7 1 for his goal and 1 for the celebration that they had planned. In truth 5 as it was not one of his better days.

Godden 6 Didn’t get any service but ran himself into the ground for not a lot of reward. Had a hand in the goal though.

Subs Biamou 5 Westbrooke 5 Allen 6

Fans 7 Another great showing numbers wise but I thought they were a bit quiet, possibly a bit nervous as it was only a small margin we had to hang onto and despite Doncaster having the majority of the possession 2nd half I’m not sure they troubled us that much.

Robins 8 If you are going to not play to your best and grind out a victory then that is the sign of a good team isn’t it?

Officials 9 For all You ref bashers I thought the team of officials was one of the best displays we’ve seen at this level so far this season.

Thought godden worked really hard and people saying he did nothing maybe just listened on the radio... as He won lots of defensive balls and hand in the goal. Seemed to come round the back of players and nick the ball of them really well yesterday.

mccallum did ok, but thought mason looked better on Tuesday. Only a young lad and had a cracking start to the season so can’t knock him though.

marosi needs coaching to come and claim the ball, does seem glued to his line a bit too often.

good work from defence again, I really like rose.

Feel like McCallum needs a few weeks rest, starting to vanish in the second half, you can see his legs/fitness is struggling.
