Not doubting you as you've been dead on with the pre season fair play, but the darmstadt friendly is a bit weird isnt it if we have 2 home ones and a trip to Valencia?
valencia will be used as our summer camp. the friendly with getafe will be likely in the valencia area. unsure if it will be behind closed doors

I think the opposite, we should have a really good turnout for this, summer, good weather, playing a premier team at home for the first time in a long time, first look at all our new players for a lot of people
I can't stand Everton so i hope we just give them the new away allocation. Always loads of trouble when we used to play them at Goodison so don't want 5K scousers roaming about.Everton would sell the entire South Stand.
Will be interesting to see if we give it to them or use it as a trial for people sat there next season.
The club may as well make some money off 5000 Everton fans. I doubt the demand will be that high in the home ends.

No different really than going and playing a game in Exeter or somewhere like that. Not going to take any more out of the players energy wise and I’m sure they’ll be much more excited to go over there than play a league 2 side hereOk that makes sense.

Another indicator of the progress we’ve made over the last few years, we do try to play the game the right way and that will be widely recognised, for some clubs that are maybe ahead of us in stature/league position I’m sure we would be looked on as a stiff test & good preparation for their own season ahead.Anyone know how we've drastically improved our pre-season games? Was it the FA Cup run?

Big old football club is Everton to be fair and they'd have probably been Champions of Europe in the 80s had it not been for the English Team BanI've got a lot of time and respect for everton and its fan base..... especially having to put up with snivelling self indulgent media-darling red-shite constantly gloating over the road.
Shame the friendly ain't at Goodison tho... one last trip to the grand old ladys away end would be great. Fingers crossed for the cup draws.
