He’s hardly played any football since coming here in summer. Been injured and not really played games with the 1st team. Let’s not write him off as he’s very well thought of in training.

Think we brought him in as cover on the right, he’s totally right footed, lampard said he’s a great signing by the club, one for next seasonInteresting that he got the nod from the bench on that left hand side over Bassette against Leeds as well.
Think Lampard does seem the rate Raphael, but he's going to get even less chances once Wright and Mason-Clark are back

Given his injury/fitness issue I don't think we can judge him until next season. Lampard obviously sees something in him as he keeps giving him little cameos.
Was pretty good on the left wing as well as on the right but more dangerous on the right with his runs going inside.It was only one game of course, but on that evidence I think he's earned the right to be backup RW.
Could be a useful weapon off the bench.
Nice to see a player just run at defenders, nice and direct.
