Rangers with 5 wins from the last 6 league games, performances still look patchy but Röhl is having a clear impact already.

He is a good manager - The job he did at SW when they were rock bottom of the league and a shoe in to be relegated showed that and I think he will do a really decent job at Rangers eventually

They must be kicking themselves that they appointed Martin over him in the summer

Martin was always a strange appointment, but they cut their losses quickly. Celtic will need to do the same with this manager too, he’s way out of his depth.

They will there is surely no way he survives this

All being said, despite the drama I do think if Celtic act now or in the not too distant future and get even a semi-competent manager they probably end up winning it still this year

Rohl will carry Rangers forward for sure though

How on any planet is 8 games long enough to give someone a proper chance? This sport is ridiculous at times.
if you'd watched the games you'd see how clueless he was at setting up a defence.

Sometimes you just have to admit you fucked up and cut them loose.

Dunno, his post match comments were always worryingly deluded. The real question is why was he hired in the first place, when you’re fired that quickly it actually reflects worse on whoever appointed you.

Well the director of football operations has been sacked as well today.

To be fair Celtic don't actually need a new defence, more a manager that plays a system that doesn't often end up with Anton Trust as the only defender.

If we were going to keep playing the mad 3 defenders with 2 of them being overlapping fullbacks

but we are not as Nancy as been sacked they'll likely go back to a 4 which they won most of their games under O'Neillwith

Thanks for playing though

Not sure if it applies in this instance, but listened to an interview years ago with some football recruitment boffin. He said that if, by 8 games, they’re not delivering a point a game (i.e. 8 points) they’ll never get up to standard and you should just get rid before wasting more time and money.
