Here's an insight into our charity event this summer. Please have a gander and consider any donation you can afford. Thank you.

The Great Glen Chase is a challenge dreamed up by a group of friends wanting to raise money for two charities very close to our hearts: Birmingham Children’s Hospital and MIND.

The challenge is to go from Fort William on the west coast of Scotland to Inverness on the east coast in under 24 hours, covering 84 miles!

The first stage will be a 53 mile bike ride taking us through the highlands and alongside the Caledonian Canal, the 2nd stage is a 31 mile hike on foot taking in the whole length of Loch Ness and up to 500m of elevation.

The group will be split into two teams, one with an hour head start. The aim is to complete the distance in under 24hrs as a team, with the winning team choosing the forfeit of the losing team!

Every single donation is greatly appreciated and will be split evenly between both Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Mind. We would urge you to go and learn more about the fantastic work they both do by visiting their websites.

Head over to our Facebook page where there will be updates about additional fundraising events and the struggles of a group of out-of -shape, middle-aged men trying to get into shape. Avid viewers will also be able to track the progress of the Great Glen Chase with GPS tracking, so you can experience the drama without the pain!

Thanks for reading…
