In the 2013/14 season did more City fans go to games at NTFC or to away games?

Answer: more CCFC fans went to away games than to NTFC. Average number of Sky Blues fans at NTFC was 1591, and at away games 1635. The Sky Blue Army has been truly awesome. #Respect

What was a 'sick joke' this week?

Answer: Oliver Kay in TheTimes wrote "Coventry City have won the Football League’s family excellence award, which recognises the “outstanding experience” provided by clubs for young fans and families this season. This is the same Coventry City whose owners, the offshoot of a Mayfair hedge fund, have alienated their fanbase by relocating 35 miles to Northampton owing to a rent dispute with the local council. Family excellence? No club in English football have done more to kill the experience of families wishing to support their local team. Unless the implication is that families are better off spending their Saturdays doing something other than watching football, this seems like a particularly sick joke"

What promise did sisu make to City fans on 18 May 2013?

Answer: that a new stadium “will be designed and delivered in 3 years” www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-chief-left-ricoh-3869400

What do you call a person who makes a promise but doesn't deliver?

Answer: with sisu, that depends on how much you can afford to pay lawyers for when they take you to court!

What was announced on 8 May and will happen on Saturday 12 July 2014?

Answer: the Sky Blue Trust march and rally (http://youtu.be/1pmFldAqgzM)

"What constitutes a football club for me, more than anything it's about the fans, and when I've seen Coventry fans marching through the streets, five thousand of them I think they said, I think 'there's a football club'. Not the people that own the name" This is a quote from this week – who said it?

Answer: AFCWimbledon’s Ivor Hellor in a fantastic interview at http://vimeo.com/92082407

"There are two modalities of timing". Who said this and what does it mean?

Answer: Mark Labovitch’s explanation of why sisu have failed to pay a bill (who'd have thought it!) of £590,000. As for what Mr L means, that’s anyone’s guess! www.coventrytelegraph.net/news/coventry-news/coventry-city-official-insists-club-7087138

What opens on Monday 12 May?

Answer: a brand new shop in Coventry selling kcic t-shirts, hoodies etc – full details are at the bottom of this message.

And two questions kcic just doesn't know the answers to:
  • why the tiny but noisy pro/anti acl/sisu minorities get so much attention when the overwhelmingly majority of City fans, as kcic again heard at Monday’s Earlsdon Festival, clearly take the view that acl have questions to answer, but sisu are primarily responsible, cannot be trusted and are not good for CCFC? and,
  • why some people criticise the kcic strategy - of campaigning for sisu to write off their losses on the debt-laden worthless asset that is now CCFC, remember to do proper due diligence in future and hand over the Club for a fresh start with a fan-led ownership model - but they don't suggest a better strategy?

Just to remind ourselves we’re football fans not lawyers and accountants…pre season friendlies announced

Nuneaton Town (a) - Saturday, July 19th, KO 3pm
Newport County (a) - Tuesday, July 29th, KO 7.30pm (TBC)
Bristol Rovers (a) - Friday, August 1st, KO 7.45pm
Stevenage (a) – Saturday, August 2nd, KO 3pm
(more friendlies might be added)
League One season starts August 9th

No, it is somebody making up silly jokes If it was a funny one about SISU I would laugh

It is the fact that this line:

Makes it OK to send an email out clearly anti sisu but that makes it not anti sisu. It is like when you hear somebody say "I'm not racist but..." or something like that. Now, you will have your opinion and it is fine if it is Anti SISU, but you always seem to take the moral highground above these "anti" people.

Now, I am not saying Michael is racist before any solicitors get their knickers in a twist.

Good luck to the new business / shop though!

Not sure when or how it suddenly became terrible to be anti-SISU and everyone got so concerned about appearing "balanced" ? Regardless of any preceding history or actions of others they have been an unmitigated disaster - particularly the lack of any positive or conciliatory action whatsoever since the move . The other factors provide some context to their shiteness that's all - not an excuse.

No, it is fine to be anti sisu, people are entitled to their opinion and of course it will be like that.

It is just when they go on and on about not being Also when they keep going on about how people "shouldn't be" anti or pro anybody.

What will happen now is somebody will post "Do you think SISU are good for the club?" in which most people will say "No" and that means everybody fully agrees with everything KCIC has ever said or written.

Sometimes it seems that the pro / anti labels have become more important than the points which are actually being discussed. Lack of any real movement and frustration all round is fraying tempers (understandably)

Any chance of a substantive counter argument that addresses the key points in the mailout?

Was that the same sort of time they were making up silly jokes like kids do?

I would address the key points but I can't actually see any actual points? If you could point them out I'd be happy to reply, it just looks like a news roundup?

Just find it amazing how you are mailing out about other people with legal action and being anti SISU. Fair play to you if you are anti SISU, just embrace it rather than trying to hide it!

The best news is a new startup business in Coventry, fair play to them!

Does Nick always have a meltdown now when someone says anything against Sisu?

Its not like they have led the club to the shittiest point in our history over the course of 6 years is it? FFS Nick have a reality check.

As to Michael and KCIC they have been by far the most active group in trying to organise and nationally publicise our situation as CCFC fans and Michael has come on here many times to put his position and indeed to encourage others to clarify theirs. Credit to him for that.

I had assumed readers would recognise that the following sentence from the mailout is an invitation to people who criticise the kcic strategy to suggest a better one - if the wording was unclear then I'm sorry: "why [do] some people criticise the kcic strategy - of campaigning for sisu to write off their losses on the debt-laden worthless asset that is now CCFC, remember to do proper due diligence in future and hand over the Club for a fresh start with a fan-led ownership model - but they don't suggest a better strategy?" You are incredibly skilled in avoiding answering questions, and I take my hat off to you for that, but all that is required here is for you to set out your suggested strategy (kcic's is only one sentence and that's all that's required). Simples!

Mine is:

"Win the euromillions and go crazy!"

Hope that is better for you I put in my own strategy for you, it is just as likely to happen and I don't even need to make a slogan for it.

[serious]

If you are calling for the fans to be handed the club, I think you should also call for the fans to be handed the Ricoh. Get them both together again.

Call to be the middle man, go between ACL and SISU to get their offers and call each others bluff.

What do you propose will happen if SISU say here is the club, have it? Who will run it? Who will fund it? Who will pay the losses?

How do you propose you will make SISU hand the club over for free to the fans?

[\serious]

Avoiding questions? Ask me a question and I will answer it, happily! I am still waiting for replies on a couple of PM's sent to you months ago with questions in with no answers.

If you want serious replies, stop sending things out which people won't take seriously with awful jokes, or at least put the jokes at the bottom and the serious stuff at the top else people stop reading. Simples!

If I had a melt down every time somebody said anything about them, I would be in rehab wouldn't I?

Reality Check about what? I am struggling to find a post where I have said SISU are so great, I love them.

I just think it is funny when people keep going on and on about SISU trying to get legal action against fans because of 1 cease and desist when fans and other parties have been at it a lot more (but we don't mention that, do we? ).

Did you read my post? I put a strategy in there?

In all seriousness, I wouldn't bother trying to get anything from SISU for free, sending out emails isn't going to make them do anything. No matter how well meaning it is, it won't go anywhere (my opinion)

City fans don't seem to be arsed, look at the petition as an example. We had over 30,000 at the Crewe game but how many can be arsed to sign a 2 minutes form online?

I don't think much will happen before the JR. My campaign at the minute would be trying to unearth as many truths as possible to find out what exactly what happened (from all sides, from the past). There is no way SISU / ACL / CCC are going to talk at the minute.

I would have a massive spade and I would be digging. I would then leak them under a false name on a website hosted in a random country where laws meant they couldn't be taken down CCFC Wikileaks.

I would be listening to anybody who wanted to talk at me, no matter how much BS I thought it was and trying to take everything in to get it out there. At the minute I don't think anything will make the parties talk so the fans at least need to know whats going on.

Whether it is SISU, ACL, CCC, old regime who are fault or if it is 99% one side and 1% the other, just dig all the shite up. I personally think that is all that can be done at the minute, it is down to the head honchos and their big game of poker.

At least if more people knew what was going on, it might bring the fans together a bit.

Who would have thought that struggling to get thirty blokes to the steps of the council house on a Saturday would have made the shouty CCC are to blame for everything lot so aggressive towards the man who arranged one of the largest and so far most public protest (namely, the why and when campaign at Arsenal).

You'd think they'd be more concerned about the up and coming election campaign.
