Always surprises me when people are surprised a websites going slow when something is in demand on it! Nothing they can do, it's like getting 30k people into the Ricoh at the same speed as 10k... Impossible!

Be careful folks. Don't do what I did ... I hit Add to basket but it didn't "take" then I hit Checkout so total was zero .went back but details had disappeared. I went back in and it said I purchased my limit! GRrrrrrrr. Worked a few minutes later so must be using the 10 minutes to time out purchase thing.

Relief but worse tickets than I had 10 minutes earlier.

Had no problems at all.

Logged in, selected the ticket, paid for it, in and out of the system in less than a minute!

Just need to sell the ticket on now!

I did that with Olympic tickets got through 10 mins early, they werent going to let me go on hold and if I'd had to call back I'd clearly have missed out so I asked the women question after inane question untill it hit 9 o clock, I could hear her tone getting more and more pissed off but I wasn't going to give her a chance to say bye. At 9 I asked for tickets . Once she had sold me the tickets I did thank her alot and apologise for my cheekyness and thanked her for not just cutting me off.

Thank God,it took an age but finally got some behind the goal as well.It seems no more are available on line, which is probably fair for the hardy souls who actually queued at the ground.:claping hands:

Likewise took an age - not great seats but its more for the atmosphere assuming we do actually win the tie!

Doubt they'll have the sense to do that

Been here since 8.50 and just reaching the shop door! And considering i started only by the exit door near the parking pay machine this queue is shit slow!

Let me know if you don't get one.

Basically I got a ticket but won't be going.

Thought the system was unfair that ST holders who never go to away games would get first choice, while fans who don't have ST's but go to loads of away games wouldn't.

I therefore said on GMK yesterday that I would buy a ticket and then sell it on at face value to a worthy supporter.

I do know you go to away games because you have reported back from grounds before for us.

Why are they holding tickets for people who are queuing? Are they somehow more worthy because they can't work a computer and don't have jobs to go to?

Because last time they didn't and this place was full of computer illiterate job seekers complaining!

Oh come off it - seriously !!!
I did book online but my 75 year old dad doesn't own a computer as he can't get on with them. I don't think they are more worthy but if they sell tickets in the shop then they have to cater for that too. You could say with your argument that people online are more worthy - I think not.

No, my argument is that everyone deserves an equal shot at getting tickets. Reserving tickets for people online would be just as ridiculous.

Hard to come up with a fair system.

Seems harsh that people have been queuing for hours and might not get one, whilst others, like myself, got straight online and snapped one up/

The seats online are reserved for online! Those going into the ticket office couldn't get them. There was also more online, so it's a more than fair chance to get one.
