Nope. Only because of my work pattern. Obviously go to as many as I could.

I've already bought mine for next season but because of the ridiculous situation we find ourselves in don't expect to return to the Ricoh.

However if we do it would have to be under totally different circumstances from all aspects, including a greatly reduced capacity in order to create the desired match day atmosphere & experience.

I will have to review and consider my personal situation if those circumstances arise for a number of reasons so let's just wait and see. PUSB!

I wouldn't buy a season ticket but would go to some games as other commitments have priority. However, for RFC it seems all you will have to look forward to is one of the players scoring and then coming to sit next to you at Sixfields and then you can both clap to try and create an atmosphere.

I would consider buying one although I don't get the use out of one. Shift work gets in the way of a lot of weekends, and then I have the problem of having to travel just over 4 hours each way. I would then let someone have it that is down on their luck on the understanding of I would want to go to some games.

We need to show SISU that if they don't take the piss out of us we will still turn up. We also need to show the next owners of our club that we have a club with support big enough to be worth investing in.

So you wont go any watch Coventry play in Coventry in a fairly empty stadium, but your happy to watch Coventry play in Northampton in an even emptier stadium?

You sir are the definition of a traitor, and someone I struggle to have any respect for.

Difficult one. I had a season ticket for 47 years before the move, and my wife had one for the last 23 years. So not buying one last summer was a wrench. We always said we would go back if the team returned to the Ricoh. But a year has gone, and so has much of the enthusiasm. As the season wore on we listened to commentary less often, and often Saturday (or Sunday!) would arrive and we wouldn't even have noticed who we were playing.

On balance we probably would buy season tickets, as long as we could have our old seats back. But in another year I doubt we would do so, and just attend odd games. I never thought that would happen, but then I never thought we would ever be in this appalling mess.

If we have another year at Sixfields I doubt I'd bother after that. 2 years out of the habit is a long time.

The longer I don't go and sit back and actually think about the whole thing, being the supporter of a football club in general. The more pathetic it all seems. It's ultimately meaningless.

It is something many fans are born into but it is meaning to be something to enjoy doing, supporting your local team. But when did you/we actually enjoy it. It tended to be 2/3 games a season at most.

The bi-weekly storm out in a mood to the pub. "This is bullshit, I'm off"
I do miss it though.

It is much easier to get out of the swing of hardly missing a game than many think. Many years ago I hardly ever missed a game both home and away. But after moving away from Coventry and starting shift work it became hard to do. You soon get used to it and then treat games more as a treat than a must or way of life. I still want my football team to win as much as before, but over the years more things to do come along.

Without hesitation I would be back up there! Nothing more I would want than to sip on a few San Miguel chalices come August in the Casino before stumbling up the steps at ten to 3. God I miss our club!!

I would sacrifice one of my bollocks to have them permanently back at the Ricoh. Don't get me wrong, I despise SISU and they are without doubt the shittest owners in world football but that would be irrelevant if I had my Saturday's back (at least for a while anyway). It won't happen though unfortunately thanks to Fishcake and co :jerkit:

Almost as mature as your use of "traitor" to a fellow fan who doesn't happen to share your view. It's shameful.

So what word would you use to describe someone who refuses to watch Coventry in Coventry but loves watching them in Northampton?

A fan. I watch them in Northampton and I am a fan. None of us who go to Northampton are "traitors" or "scabs" or "wrong" or "disloyal" or "not real fans" or any of the other words you, MMM, Spion and a plethora of the other Moral Overlords on here use.

So why would a Coventry fan not want to watch them in Coventry?

you seem to be having your own little mardy argument with no one in particular. if he had said those people who go to northampton are traitors then what you are writing would be valid, but he didn't write anything of the sort. His criticism of what RFC wrote is perfectly fair. You've lost all ability to look at the situation objectively and I realise some of that comes from unfairly being labeled a scab in the past.

If it was SISU in charge I wouldn't buy a season ticket like I did for many years up to 2012-13, but I would probably take in a few games.

if SISU is gone, season ticket straight away..

I'm willing to bet 23p he did mean that though.
Torch is quickly becoming an extremist though. Although he's being pushed. Maybe it's time for a break?

Wow, this from a man who how can I put this, certainly questioned the integrity of fellow CCFC fans about going to MK or Arsenal.

That was about the hypocrisy of going though. Slightly different.

You know, NOPM but London will be a giggle. At least he sticks to his guns. I don't agree with the fucker, but he doesn't float about picking and choosing when he's right or wrong.

What about fans going to watch their team? Did he ask every individual fan of their motives, no. Name calling is name calling and to be honest it don't bother me but when when he calls people hypocrites, how can he then moan about people calling others names?
