Heard a rumour today that the Onyeka signing hasn't gone through because Doug is considering sacking Lampard and bringing in Neil Warnock to get us over the line. And so he's keeping the 8 million in his pocket firstly to pay off Frank, and then to sign Sol Bamba and Adel Taraabt for Warnock instead.

I remember a hungover New Year game when Taraabt ripped us a new one as QPR were on their way to the title. I wish I could remember as little of that match as I could the night before.

Latibeudiere is our only centre back who doesn't allow himself to be bullied by a physical striker. Kitching and Thomas are looking more and more lightweight. Some frustrating moments of switching off too. Van Ewijk particularly guilty.
Not much to feel good about apart from the fact we are still very much in the game. We rarely seem to get possession now in the centre of the field. We play it around at the back, play it to the wings and rinse and repeat. We need to mix it up a bit. Far to predictable.

We barely look competitive. No ideas going forward, no discipline at all at the back. Hoping for individual brilliance to bail us out because this stubborn manager can't adapt to what he's got.

It’s a shit game so far, but we have a quality bench to use in the second half. QPR can’t say the same. Expecting at least Esse and Hadji to come on at 60 mins and poss Torp too.
