Must admit, my wife's been trying to chat about other stuff, and she's realised I'm seething internally, and realised my head's elsewhere. Not mad at anyone specifically, but it's what following a team does to you. Like I said, really need 4 points minimum from the next 2 games, coupled with Onyeka ( or similar).

watch this place explode on Monday if no deals have gone through and this is what we’ve got for the rest of the season….

I also worry that away form will soon creep into home form, we can’t rely on winning every game at home to stay in the autos because it ain’t going to happen

if we do miss out this season I can see it fucking us for years to come with fan drop off, players leaving, another complete rebuild….
I’ve just had the same conversation about knock on impact it could have. Whilst I’d like to keep positive, I can’t at current woods and trees comes to mind - just foooking turgid football at the moment. It’s like we’ve flipped season, start well and finished shit rather than start shit and finish well! 😂🤷🏻‍♂️

Dissapointing

Their equaliser came not from us not having a tough tackling midfielder but a reluctance to attack. Stupid triangle without progressing ball and got caught out.

Winner is on sakamoto being weak

Thought da Silva passing was shite. Pitch prob played big part

Our goal was nice. Rudoni great cross and brill header from Eccles.

Not sure why torp wasn't on at the end?

Esse and Yang poor today . Both strikers shit . Seems expected now.

Luckily Ipswich dropped pts again but hull and Boro took advantage

As fergie says it's squeaky bum time. Two home games now. Back to back wins needed

3rd place knocked out by Wrexham over two legs.
Don't see us finishing third.

It's insipid, brainless football played by players without belief and a manager who has no idea what to do.

The complete inability to hold onto a lead; how can game management be that dire? Not wanting to sound petty, but QPR are the absolute epitome of an average Championship side, it's unforgivable for a team with promotion aspirations to capitulate to them when in a winning position.

It's both tactical and psychological failings, and it's the management team's responsibility to make sure those things are right. In that, they are fundamentally failing. Either sort it out, or fuck off.

OK, it's not good... 3 draws in 6 away games in December and January? At least our home form is still very good, Oxford next, then Middlesbrough - that's going to be some fixture...
IMHO it's a mentality problem though Mikey.

Away, the only difference is having a larger home crowd cheering and jeering.

The pitch is the same size and the team is still the same.

If you haven't the mental strength to cope you're frankly a pussy.

Rob Gurney questioned our poor form in pre match interview. Frank retorted with "if poor form is winning against Leicester and Millwall then yeah its poor form".
No Frank, what he means by poor form is no win away from home since November and the same shit kamakaze tactics fucking us over weekly.

He can't take the criticism when things aren't going his way clearly.

The reality is we have been shit since before Christmas but grinded out a few results. Now we can't seem to even do that.

There are no real excuses either, we can't say we have players coming back or we've been unlucky. We can't do the basics. We don't create chances and can't defend.

It's never been about winning the league but top 2. We've been lucky with Ipswich's last couple of results.

Where's that Lampard thread got to?

Hull are effectively 2 points behind us, Ipswich effectively 3. We're fucked, let's be honest. I don't see us making top 2.

We’ve got super Frankie Lampard
He’s blown a double digit lead
Porous at the back, toothless in attack
This team will go down in infamy

So deflated, lads bottling challenges, caught in the same areas for a while now, and if we end up bringing in nobody tomorrow then im not expecting to finish 1st let alone 2nd

We have bottled the biggest lead in championship history

I genuinely think we’ll bottle this year and then we could be one of those sides that doesn’t recover abd we’ll be in a relegation battle come this time next year

I’m confident we’ll be in league one before the premier league

That's a bit of a leap mate. I'm just saying we're screwing it up. Lack of investment in the squad this year has cost us. Too many dead on their feet.

I joked earlier but that Doug King statement has aged like milk behind a radiator. I thought it was patronising as fuck and hugely misguided at the time but it just feels ridiculous considering everything that's happened since
