The frustrating thing is that Sheaf ought to be capable of similar, but just seems to lose his head completely when shooting.

He does lose his head, but he also doesn't possess Torp's technique.

7 Rushworth - varied and accurate kicking. Dealt with most stuff and alert to come out of his area, but went walkabout for their goal
9 MvE
9 Dasilva
9 Kitching - some excellent passing but sloppy backpass that slightly changed momentum for five ten minutes and a needless yellow
9 Thomas
10 Grimes - strong, won the ball everytime and got us on the front foot repeatedly
10 Torp - keeps us moving forward and does the defensive stuff well. Real goal threat.
10 Rudoni - superb supporting the forwards. Closed down brilliantly as they kept trying to play out.
9 BTA - decent finish and got a couple of assists. Ran down a few blind alleys and tried to take players on he doesn't have the technical ability for. Worked tirelessly
8.5 EMC
10 Wright - unreal CF performance today. Won in the air, held the ball up well, good movement and ran in behind. Superb. Where was he in the play-offs?

7.5 Raphael - Good work on the flank but did leave his runner a couple of times.
7.5 KKH - kept up where MvE left off
7 Brau - still getting used to the league and the game was petering out by that time but was Ok
7 Simms - if he could show the intensity Wright did he could tear this league apart. Did time his jumps and win his headers today.
7 Allen - tidy even though game was done. He is no Grimes though.

10 Lampard - how we should be looking to play. Pressing, getting the ball forward quickly, sharp passing and putting them under pressure. Not sure we can keep up that level of intensity week in week out as games become more frequent but if we can get ourselves into positions where players can come off and have a rest them we're giving ourselves a chance.
