VAR isn't looking good coming out of this world cup. There's been some absolutely ridiculous decisions.

I think I've only ever seen one referee go to the screen and say nah fuck off, that was earlier in this tournament, he would get the final if I was choosing

Considering its only meant to be there to help the ref make a decision, it's alarming how few ref's ever look at it and stick to their guns.

I'd love to see Poland win this but are they Wales in disguise?

Literally VAR needs to fuck off. Its gets more decisions wrong than it gets right.

Messi, saved. Justice.

I like the idea of VAR in theory but they just mess it up at every opportunity. That was a joke of a decision, Messi had already missed the header!

I would like a system more in line with Cricket or Tennis where each team has a number of challenges. Then the Var team talk through the decision.

At the moment it seems pretty arbitrary what they check for and class a clear error. Take that off the ref and hand it to to the teams. Limit their challenges and you won't waste time sweating the small stuff.

I said it a few days ago, but I can seriously see some dodgy tournament defining decisions coming in the next couple of weeks.

It has been really questionable so far, but most of the decisions have been of little consequence.

Again, at what point is it fixing?
It’s not a conspiracy, it’s just stupidity.

No idea why we insist on giving the least important people on the pitch more toys to play with and more importance, but apparently football wasn’t fair enough before VAR.

Enjoyed last night a fair bit! It was always a case of just needing one goal which would open the floodgates. Felt the Wales fans were very good throughout the tournament and were let down by the players. They were awful and looked like they had no fight for the vast majority of the three games.

Meanwhile 8/8 stadiums is done. Senegal will probably not be pushovers but we should get the job done.

It's mission creep pure and simple.
Entities such as these make it inevitable
